What do you often do at the weekend? 2.复习有关周末活动项目的动词短语。 教师指着黑板上的图片或卡片,请学生快速认读。 Step 2 Presentation (一)初读课文,学习句子:Welcome to the Science Museum. 1.教师播课文录音,学生带着问题初步感知课文内容。听完对话后,请学生找答案。 2.教学单词 museum 和词组 Science Museum。 (1)教师出示卡片,教学 museum 和 Science Museum。 (2)教师出示“历史博物馆”等图片,让学生感知 History Museum 的英文表达法。 3.学习句子:Welcome to the Science Museum. 教师请个别学生起立,用 Welcome to.造句,并做相应的动作,如: Welcome to my home. Welcome to my school. Welcome to my birthday party. Welcome to the Science Museum. (二)学习单词 cook, player 和词组 play chess。 1.教师布置任务,让学生带着任务再读课文。 教师说:“Yang Ming and Wang Tao go to the Science Museum. Its a good . 2.学生自读课文对话,独立完成练习,然后进行新知识教学活动。 3.教学句子:I can cook. (1)教师出示单词卡片 look 和 book,引导学生自己读出 cook 的音。 (2)教师请学生根据实际边说边做动作,如,会烹调的学生可以边说:“I can cook.”边做 相应的动作。不会烹调的学生就可以说:“I cant cook, but my mother/father can cook.” 4.教学句子:I can play chess. (1)教师出示一粒象棋,教学单词 chess 的音和形。 (2)教师出示一副象棋,问一学生:“Can you play chess?”引出 play chess 的教学。 (3)教师告诉学生,当 play 后面接表示球类或棋类的单词时不加冠词 the。教师出示单词 football, basketball 和 chess,引导学生说 play football, play basketball, play chess。 5.教学句子:Youre a good player. 教师告诉学生,在某些动词词尾加“er”,表示某项专业的人。如:sing 是“唱歌”的意思, singer 就是“歌唱家” 、 “歌手”的意思;clean 是“打扫”的意思,cleaner 就是“保洁员” 的意思。 (三)熟读课文,表演对话。 1.教师请学生翻开课本第 25 页,模仿跟读课文录音或教学光盘。 2.教师请几位学生起立,模仿机器人的语气和动作跟读课文对话。 3.巩固练习。 (1)完成课本第 27 页的 Learn to write.部分。 学生独立完成练习,教师巡视,帮助有困难的学生。 学生四人一小组,互相检查练习完成情况。 (2)完成课本第 28 页的 Listen. Tick or cross.部分。 教师播放录音或教学光盘,学生认真听,边听边完成练习。 教师核对答案,学生自我检查。 听力材料: A: Hi, Wang Tao. What do you often do on Sunday? B: I often play football. A: Do you go to the cinema? B: Yes, I do.
