Must shows that you think something is probably true. It means “一定是;准是” in Chinese. Might or could shows that you think something is possibly true. It means “也许;可能” in Chinese. Cant shows that you are almost sure something is not true. It means “一定不是;准不是” in Chinese. (2) Listen and check T: Which modal verbs did they use in each sentence? Lets listen and fill in the blanks.
