Section A 3a-3c 阅读部分,及 Section B1a-1e 听力部分。这是一节阅读 和听力的混合课型。主要话题围绕童话故事 The Shirt of a Happy Man. 在 阅读和听力两部分中展开,部分教学活动设计较为开放,旨在培养学生的 文化品格和思维品质,提升阅读素养。课前学案的介入,极大地减轻了教 师和学生语言知识层面的压力,不仅让教师能够放手整合教材,而且也将 学生的关注点引向深层次的学习。 学情分析 八年六班一共有 41 名学生,其中 3 人思维能力及语言加工能力比较突出; 10 余人思维能力较好,语言加工能力一般;不足 20 人能够形成自己的观点, 语言表述需要支援;还有将近 10 人语言输出能力无法支撑自己的观点表 达。班级多数学生具有学习英语的热情,能够在教师的引导下主动完成学 习任务。 词语 P83&P85 通过预习学案使学生初步感知和理解相应的词语及含义,在 课堂学习中强化 power, wealth, fame, king, banker 等词语的运 用 阅读 P83-3a 通过预习使学生在家完成浅层阅读,即了解阅读文章的主旨 大意;通过课堂学习使学生完成深层阅读,即如何获得快乐教学项目 听力 P85-1c1d 通过听前预测故事结局激发学生听的愿望;通过判断故事情 节培养学生捕捉信息的能力;通过回答问题培养学生理解信 息、加工和处理信息的能力;通过整个听力活动为 3a 阅读丰 富内容,引发讨论环节。 教学方法任务型教学法、情景交际法 语言能力全体学生能够理解阅读语篇的框架结构和含义;绝大多数学 生能够形成自己的关于“如何获得快乐”的观点;部分学生能够 讨论自己观点形成的原因。 文化品格全体学生能够体验快乐与权力、财富、名声的联系,理解如何 才能获得快乐。 思维品质通过阅读思维导图的设计和讨论环节的设计,部分学生能够 批判地、开放地看待问题(即如何获得快乐)。 教学目标 学习能力多数学生能够体验关键词、结构建构阅读技巧; 多数学生能够学会在听力中捕捉信息、理解信息,及在听力后 加工信息、处理信息。 教学重点学习能力的发展 教学难点思维品质的培养 运用任务探讨如何获得快乐;角色表演故事结局 二、课堂教学过程 Step 1: Before reading a.Free talk: Are you a happy person? b. Ask questions about the story to see how students understand it by reading the story the day before. Step 2: While reading a.Read the story again and answer questions. Offer three open questions to help students realize power, wealth and fame cant make people happy. b. Discussion. Encourage students to talk about the ending of the story. c.Role play the ending. Work in groups to act out the ending which is possible. Step 3: Listening a.Listen and answer the questions. b. Listen and try to find out the ending of the story. Step 4: Post reading Discuss some advice about how to be happy. Step 5: Conclusion Life is full of pain and happiness. Face them in a positive way and try to be a happy man. Step 6: Homework Think of an experience that made you unhappy. Write a story to tell us how you solved it.
