Because I think that 九年级新目标 Unit 2 Section A 3a-3c Full moon, Full feelings 教学设计 一、教材分析 本课时是九年级新目标 Unit 2 Section A 3a 的课文,学生对于以 前的学习内容已经基本上掌握了故事的叙事方式,Section A 部分的 3a 从形式上看是阅读文章,实质上是对本单元基础目标语言的集中 输入,同时强调让学生体会目标语言的表意功能;从内容上偏向故 事性,而且在让学生体会目标语言的基础上渗透了丰富的文化内容 和品德教育,体现了文化的多元性。 二、学情分析 对于初三的同学们来说,本单元对于他们来说应该是非常的感 兴趣的一个单元。在本单元一开始我们就回顾了一些传统的节日尤 其是中国的传统节日,像元宵节、龙舟节、春节等等,这些节日几 乎都以一个神话故事作为文化背景,学生以前也有看过相关的中文 版的故事。因此,这个英语版的故事对他们来说并不漠生,也为我 们的课堂教学提供了一个较好的知识背景。 三、教学目标 1、知识与技能:(1) 理解并会运用单词 admire、goddess、 steal、lay out、 dessert; (2)通过故事发展的顺序寻找关键词; (3)通过关键词与他人合作讲述故事,并正确使用一般过去时; 2、过程与方法: (1)利用字里行间的意义来拓展文本内容, 赏析文学作品之美;(2)熟悉阅读策略,如寻读、找关键词、理解 大意、了解重点细节、评价阅读内容等; 3、情感态度价值观:(1)了解中秋节故事的起源和节日习俗; (2)培养批判性的阅读思维能力。 (3)激发他们对中国传统文化的 研究,并传承中国传统文化。 四、教学重难点: 教学重点: (1)理解文章“Full Moon, Full Feelings”。 (2)完成各项阅读任务。 (3)复述文章中的神话故事。 教学难点: (1)理解文章“Full Moon, Full Feelings”。 (2)复述文章中的神话故事。 五、教学策略: 阅读教学通过指导学生分别完成 pre-reading, while-reading, post- reading 中的任务,让学生充分理解阅读材料; 词汇教学采取情景介绍或演示对比的方式进行教学,让学生在 情境中操练、理解含义,并学会运用; 思维导图教学通过小组合作完成思维导图的方式帮助学生更快 更准确地掌握文章大意。 六、教学流程设计 Step 1: Pre-reading Activity 1. 利用实物来引出话题,通过听歌本来导入新课,激发学生 对于课文学习的兴趣。 【设计意图设计意图】 通过实物和幻灯片呈现本课主题月饼和圆月,让学生猜测 节日名称,并在阅读材料的同时初步了解该节日。用师生问答的形 式,让学生描述中秋节的特色,让尽可能多的学生动起来,迅速集 中精力。用讨论的方式,复习上一课时学习的句型,并为下面的阅 读教学进行铺垫。 Activity 2. 学习新词。通过幻灯片的图片及例句帮助学生理解本课新 词的意思,为下一步的阅读文章打下坚实的基础。 【设计意图设计意图】 在学习新词这个环节中,我主要运用与单词匹配的图片来教授 新词,并辅以例句,使学生对新单词的用法一目了然。学习新词是 降低文章难度的一个重要步骤,而且,英英互译的学单词过程也是 学生词汇量提高的一种有效学习方式。 Activity 2. 观察图片,对文章内容进行预测,回答老师提出的三个问 题。 【设计意图设计意图】 在阅读文章之前,先让学生观察图片,猜测文章讲的是什么内 容。这样,可以学生提前感知与文章有关的信息,提高学生的预测 技能,并为后面的再次阅读作好铺垫。 Step 2: While-reading Activity 1. 第一遍阅读,略读文章,快速掌握文章大意和中心思想。 【设计意图设计意图】 第一遍阅读,对文章的有初步的理解和把握即可。通过问答三 个关于文章的问题,检验学生第一遍阅读的理解程度,提高学生对 文章的宏观理解能力。 Activity 2. 第二遍阅读,细读各段,回答老师设计的问题,分析文章 结构及各段大意。 【设计意图设计意图】 引导学生对文章结构 Beginning, Body, Ending 进行分析,根据文 章各段落的内容有针对性地提出问题,提高学生对文章细节的理解 能力和分析能力。 Activity 3.第三遍阅读,完成事件排序。 【设计意图设计意图】 第三遍阅读,理解应深入到细节,通过文中事件排序,达到对文 章逻辑顺序掌握到位的目的。 Step 3:Post-reading Activity 1. 思维导图的绘制。全班分为九个小组,每个小组按自己对 文章的理解画出自己组的思维导图,并在班上作展示,老师对作品 进行点评。 【设计意图设计意图】 思维导图是最快最迅速帮助学生掌握文章大意的一种学习工具。 为了让学生顺利画出思维导图,在活动介绍之前,我先在黑板上进 行思路的引导。我以文章中几个关键人物为主线。以他们所做的事 情的关键动词为支架,与学生一起口头复述文章大意,帮助学生归 纳文章内容,为小组合作制作思维导图作好铺垫。 Activity 2. 课后作业的布置。根据今天小组画的思维导图,写一篇有 关中秋节的短文。 【设计意图设计意图】 作业的布置也是输出环节的一个重要组成部分,它的重点在于 笔头的练习。我根据本节课所学内容,让学生利用今天画出的导图 来复述文章大意。其实,这就是课堂活动的延伸。 教后反思:虽然上过很多的阅读课,但是利用思维导图来辅助教学 还是第一次,收获不少,有欣慰,有遗憾,现总结如下: 优点:一、这篇阅读材料有一定的难度,因此,我对文章进行了整 合和设计,不仅体现了自己的思路,也有利于教学活动更好的开展。 首先,我用轻松愉快的语气和同学们问好,并询问学生今天的早餐 吃了什么,这可以称为“破冰环节。 ”我利用破冰活动引导学生说出 “moon cake”这个与本课相关联的词汇后,便拿出事先准备好的月 饼,顺势问学生“What does the moon cake look like” ,学生自 然就会联想到“moon”这个单词,我随即播放歌曲明月几时有 , 这首优美动听的歌马上把学生带入中秋节思念亲人、团圆的情景当 中,激发学生对本课主题的联想。至此,导入环节顺利完成,达到 帮助学生唤醒对旧知的回忆,为新知的学习作了很好的铺垫。 二、整节课的设计合理,突出了 reading 的特色,以阅读为主,主线 条突出,舍弃了一些过于细碎的知识,突出了阅读策略的渗透 通过题目预测文章主要内容,接下来的阅读训练分为 fast reading 和 detail reading 两部分,题型有回答问题,猜测词意,选择题,配 对题等多种形式,比较灵活,而且与九年级的任务型阅读很接近。 三、思维导图的绘制是本节课的亮点。通过小组合作制作思维导图 小组成果展示课后作业的布置,都是围绕思维导图进行。 导图不是一个摆设的花架子,而是一个帮助学生理解文章大意的工 具。 同学们在小组讨论环节中对本组的作品进行了积极地讨论,气氛十 分活跃,小组展示活动也相当精彩,高度发挥了学生的主体作用, 培养了学生的思维能力,同时锻炼了学生的语言表达能力。
