Read the picture book Good Old Mum, and tell it.(选做) Sam Bobby Mr Turkey sad happy People eat turkeys. buy a Christmas tree sing Christmas songs have a big dinner First Next Then, they meet 【设计意图:新课标指出:语言的学习需要大量的输入。丰富多样的课程资源 对英语学习尤其重要。创造性地开发和利用现实生活中鲜活的英语学习资源, 扩展学生学习和运用英语的渠道,英语绘本无疑是这样的好资源。它能让学生 通过了解原汁原味的语言,体验外国文化,拓展视野,从而提高学生的语言能 力。 】 思考与感悟: 1. 找准一个切入点,让课堂有序生成 众所周知,航海需要码头,乐曲需要序曲一样,综合板块的教学需要“牵一 发而动全身”的切入点,以此折射出综合板块的大意或焦点,让我们逐步领略 到这一板块的无限风景。找准了综合板块的切入点,整堂课就有了线索,有了 方向,教师就可以领着学生循着这个切入点,沿着正确的路径逐步进入新知, 理解新知,这是学生高质量理解综合板块的开端。 本课我把 order 作为切入点,整堂课的教学过程中都有 order 的渗入。首先 在课堂开始的 my busy morning 中引出 order 这一情感点,引出 first, next, then, finally 这四个重点词汇,以此来开展接下来的教学。接着开展的圣诞派对中也 利用这四个表示秩序的词设置了四个活动,最后利用板书复述 cartoon time 的时 候,也引导学生运用 first, next, then, finally 来讲述这个故事。 2. 创设整体语境,培养语用意识 英语新课程标准中提出,小学英语教学的重点是培养学生在特定的语境 中领悟和使用语言进行交流的能力,即培养学生的语言运用能力。在课堂教学 中,我们应该尽可能为学生提供和创设生活中的语言情境,让学生在真实的情 境中学习和运用语言。不管是语篇教学还是综合板块的教学,我们的课堂都应 有意识地尝试去呈现一条清晰的主线,尤其是综合板块,每个知识点都相对零 散,就更应把它们放进同一个语境中进行合并教学,这样不仅帮助学生理清知 识点,同时对于学生的综合语用能力也会有很大的帮助。 本课的内容是 Grammar time 和 Cartoon time, 根据教学内容我提炼了 “order”这个关键词,并围绕这个情感点创设了 Christmas party 这条主线。语 法板块放在“我们的圣诞派对”中进行操练,而卡通部分就放在“Bobby and Sam 的圣诞派对”中进行新授。整堂课主线清晰,每个环节的过渡也相对比较 自然。 3. 准确定位教学目标,凸显板块功能 教参中给 Grammar time 板块的定位是:Grammar time 板块主要呈现了本单 元 的重要语法现象和语法规律,旨在引导学生有效系统地感知语法知识,建构语 言规则,促使学生更好地掌握语言知识,从而展开得体有效的交流。对于 Grammar time 板块的教学单纯的分析语法结构或者大量的题海战,都只会让学 生对语法板块望而却步。结合本单元的文本内容,整合其他板块,创设情境, 让学生在具体情境中运用语言,不要让语法板块变成“无源之水,无根之木” 。 而 Cartoon time 板块的文本要与 Story time 板块的文本区别对待,它主要是 为了激发学生的学习和表演的兴趣设置的,而不需要花大量时间去解读文本细 节。本课对 Cartoon time 板块的教学,通过文本的跟读,让学生去模仿人物的 语音语调,进一步体会 Mr Turkey 的伤心,让孩子去设身处地的感受并帮助他。 学生在故事情境中理解语言,让学生自己去体会学故事的快乐。
