About the students Our students are in Grade 5.They are active ,curious and interested in new things.They learn English for more than two years.Theyve got basic knowledge of English.They love listening and speaking English. Teaching aims 1)The knowledge aim:to be able to read,say and use the key words of this unit,they are same and different. 2)The ability aim:to be able to describe the hobbies of a friend,and describe the same hobbies by using the sentence pattern We both like. 3)The moral aim: to experience precious friendship and feel the happiness with friends. Teaching key and difficult points 1)Key points: Words:clever,same,class,both,heavy,different Sentence pattern:We both like . 2)Difficult points: To add the before using the word same.
