A. mustnt, should B. cant, must C. mustnt, may D. neednt, can1Module 11 Way of lifeUnit 3 Language in use教学设计教学设计教材:教材:外研版新标准英语八年级上册教学对象:教学对象:八年级学生一、指导思想一、指导思想英语新课程标准的总目标指出:“通过英语学习使学生形成初步的综合语言运用能力,促进心智发展,提高综合人文素养。 ”本节课遵循这一指导思想,立足于学生的生活经验,围绕用英语谈论风俗习惯、社会行为等重点,通过组织自主学习、合作学习、交流学习,展开听、说、读、写等训练,进而培养他们的综合语言能力。二、教学背景分析二、教学背景分析1. 教学内容分析教学内容分析本模块的话题与不同国家的风俗习惯和风土人情有关,这个话题比较贴近学生生活实际,学生能体验到不同的地域风俗、增强自己的跨文化交际意识。本单元的语法主要是复习情态动词 must, can, need 的用法,这与本模块的话题“way of life”十分契合。教师通过动画、微课等让学生进一步巩固 must 等情态动词的用法,并会用它们表达。模块任务写家规和 giving advice 也锻炼学生的写作能力,学生可以就家乡和身边的风俗习惯提出建议。2. 学情分析学情分析八年二班中等生及中等偏下学生偏多,其中男生在语法上稍差一些。因此本节课要求学生复习重点词组和句型,同时敢于用情态动词表达。学生在七年级学习过情态动词,他们对本课的话题也并不陌生。他们模仿能力强,但口语交际能力差。农村学生缺乏自信心和学习环境,但他们充满好奇心,求知欲强。因此,教师会尽量提供更多的机会,鼓励他们更自信、更勇敢地发言。他们在2前两个单元了解一些外国风俗,更有利于理解这单元。三、教学目标及教学重、难点三、教学目标及教学重、难点1. 语言知识目标:语言知识目标:To review some key words and expressions: cap, chopsticks, toy, gift, surprise, immediately, difference, accept, tradition, example, must; video game, for example, for the first timeTo review the important sentences with modal verbs2. 语言技能目标:语言技能目标:To summarise and consolidate the use of must (not), need (not) and can (not) To talk about customs and social behaviours wih the above modal verbs3. 情感态度目标:情感态度目标:To learn about different culture of different countriesTo develop the sense of cross culture and patriotism4. 学习策略目标:学习策略目标:To make a fact book or pictures to talk about different cultures5. 教学重点教学重点The use of must (not), need (not) and can (not)6. 教学难点教学难点How to write advice to foreign guests by using the modal verbs四、教学策略选择与设计四、教学策略选择与设计1. 兴趣导向策略兴趣导向策略首先让学生展示网络搜索的与本课相关的 “fact book”文化万花筒,其次英文版弟子规视频导入家规写作,同时设计情态动词微课来激发学生的兴趣。优3美的动画会吸引学生的注意力,同时使学生能直观感受到本节课的学习内容。Pad 教学使语法能够活学活用,而且活跃了课堂气氛。2. 小组合作策略小组合作策略利用“班级优化大师”app 将学生分为 6 个小组,方便教师及时点评,也便于 pair work 和 group work。其中的“光荣榜”模式提高学生回答问题的积极性。教师在写作环节给出了思维导图,group work 中学生运用思维导图与同伴进行讨论,交换意见。Group 竞赛抢答始终贯穿于本课堂,既增加了同伴交流又可以互相取长补短。3. 基于基于 pad 同屏下的情景教学策略同屏下的情景教学策略教师利用移动终端 pad、翼课网、 “翼课教师、翼课学生”等 app 授课,重组教材活动,创设出讲解有趣的微课,辅之生动的课堂语言,并借助不同的activity music 渲染气氛,引导学生进入写作情境,播放民族音乐,学生仿佛身临弟子规、家规其境。在交互式电子白板协同的可视化环境下创设真实的学习情境,帮助学生完成知识的内在建构,全班同时进行知识信息的分享,在教师、资源等外界手段的帮助下,达到知识迁移,知识内在建构的过程。五、教学环境及资源准备五、教学环境及资源准备本节课将在学校专用的录播室讲授。为了更好地发挥 pad 的同屏效果和交互式电子白板的互动效果,进一步激发农村中学生学习英语的兴趣,笔者从电子白板的资源库中及网络资源中搜索了一系列相关素材,并结合 NSE 单机网络教材,加工搜集的图片、视频和音频,录制微课,以更好地适应本节课堂。六、教学过程六、教学过程教学步骤教学步骤教师活动教师活动学生活动学生活动设计意图及设计意图及信息技术应用信息技术应用4Step 1. Vocabulary&sentence revision(5 min)Check last homework on ekwing, and review the important vocabulary by “Baicizhan” app.Review the important words and sentences in this module and correct pronunciation after the app. Then finish a7.通过翼课网的自动评分功能检查词汇作业。利用“百词斩”app 针对个别学生进行纠音复习。Step 3. Grammar revision(13 min)Let the ss finish the exercise and play the micro lesson on the IWB.Finish activity 3, 1 and 2, then summarise the modal words. For top: write some advice for foreign visitors to a Chinese family.小组课堂小结后,课后完成“翼课网”的其他练习。思维导图指导作文有助于学生养成逻辑思考习惯,帮助写作。6教学流程图教学流程图7板书设计板书设计七、教学评价设计七、教学评价设计1. 评价方法评价方法教师评价教师评价本班学生大多是周边农村学生,缺乏学习英语自信心,教师在学生回答问题后要及时反馈,充分利用“班级优化大师”app 以表扬和鼓励为主,提高学生的学习兴趣,鼓励学生大胆说英语,树立孩子的自信心,让他们在课堂上多表达。小组互评小组互评学生之间互相合作及评价,既培养学生的合作意识,也促进彼此互相学习,8取长补短。学生自评学生自评学生通过评价量表可以看到自己的成绩与不足,找到成功或失败的原因。通过评价使师生互相学习、互相激励、扬长避短,调动教与学双方的积极性,促使师生共同发展。2. 评价工具评价工具“班级优化大师” 八、教学反思八、教学反思本节课的教学要求对于农村八年级学生来说有一定难度,尤其是翼课网的语言输出,因此教师在课前精心钻研教材,分析学情,力求设计出切实可行的教学目标,组织行之有效的教学活动,并充分结合信息技术手段,以提高教学实效。总体来说做到了下几点:1. 尊重传统课堂,注重信息技术创新尊重传统课堂,注重信息技术创新作为一节模块复习课,本节课在遵循传统路线的同时,融合了多种信息技术手段:在 pad 与电子白板同屏环境下,利用翼课网、 “百词斩” 、 “班级优化大师”app、微课等。在词汇复习环节,教师把“百词斩”app 与词汇完美结合,帮助学生纠音,也可课后自主复习。再次利用微课复习语法情态动词,与学生当堂互动。在播放英文版弟子规的同时,让学生记下里面的情态动词,做到“词不离句、句不离境” ,这样才能充分发挥 pad 同屏的交互功能,为学生创设更好的学习情境。2. 小组合作学习,小组竞赛贯穿课堂小组合作学习,小组竞赛贯穿课堂笔者在本课中充分利用“班级优化大师”app 评价,采用小组合作学习的方式,设计了学生展示、小组讨论等活动,形成了师生、学生与学生之间的全方位、多层次的交流模式,使小组中每个人都有机会发表自己的观点与看法。小组竞赛使学生由被动学习变为主动学习,同时也有利于培养学生集体荣誉感和责任感,使学生感受到学英语的乐趣,进而有效地提高了教学效率。93. 德育渗透,暗中引路德育渗透,暗中引路本课的德育在暗中指引着每一个教学环节。大到主要问题的选取,例如:Is it necessary for us to make family rules? Why? 小到微课例句的选取,例如对need 肯定句的讲解时,给出了这样的例子:He needs to clean the house. 在最后的 summary 中给出“NO RULES, NO GAMES! When in Rome, do as Romans do.” ,学生们给予了充分地认可和积极的回应。4. 本课的不足本课的不足尽管教师做了大量的准备工作,但是本节课仍存在一些问题。比较明显的不足体现在写作活动中,笔者发现少数学生还不能熟练地使用所学语言,而更多地关注 pad 的拍照上传。在今后的教学中应加强对重点语法的关注和要求,例如把教学活动设计地尽可能与目标语言贴近,做练习时为学生提供更多操作电子白板或 pad 的机会,并在小组展示时大力赞扬学生对所学语言的使用,这样学生可能会在语言运用方面更加自如。11Way of lifeUnit 3 Language in useUnit 3 Language in useEngland: afternoon tea What is afternoon tea?Afternoon tea is not just _ but _ around _.
