This will save time and money, make the operation more profitable, and help minimize any potentially

Only by mainta
9、ining centralized control at the highest level, can this be achieved. Centralized control means that sufficient information is available for the right decisions to be made promptly and the resources are available for carrying
10、out the decisions. Regulation The purpose of movement regulation is to maintain an even flow. In order to do this, the operator has to keep traffic moving without unnecessary checks and avoid congestion at bottlenecks, transfer points and terminals. Failure
11、to maintain an even flow will result in extended journey times and turn-round and inefficient use of transport resources. FlexibilitySome kinds of traffic can be forecast and dispatched at regular

Furthermore, if a route or transport system is disrupted by weather or breakdown, it will be necessary to switch to another route or means of transport so that an ev

The means of conveyance is what we call transport, but if we include all the other factors necessary for the planning, monitoring and co
17、ntrolling of movement we are dealing with something much wider than just conveyance. For example, if you book a package holiday to a foreign destina
18、tion, one element of it will be the transport involved in getting you first to the home airport, then from there to the foreign one, and finally from there to your resort. All this transport needs to connect up so that you neither miss your flight nor have to wait a long time for it.
When you get to your holiday destination, you hope there will be a room booked for you in a hotel and, of course, you will need a passport, perhaps a visa as well, and, perhaps some special vaccinations. 20、o you can see that what we are dealing with here is not just transport, but the whole process of moving you from home to the holiday hotel and everything that needs to be done in order for that to happen.

22、when your flight is delayed), arrangement of customs and any other special clearances, etc. 1.
