Mama called the doctor.边说边做动作,并出示医生的图片,帮助学生理解这两句 话的意思。 (2)在黑板上板书 doctor 并教学。然后出示单词 daughter,与 doctor 进行 比较学习活动,区别它们发音的不同之处。 (3)揭示课题并板书:Unit 3 Seeing a Doctor Part A。 StepStep 2 2 PresentationPresentation (一)教学单词:ill,headache,toothache,fever。 教学句子:I have a headache/toothache/fever/cold. 1.教师出示课本的第一幅图说:“This is Ben. Whats wrong with him?” 并板书 Whats wrong with him?然后请学生听录音或观看课文的多媒体教学 光盘,初步感知课文内容。 2.通过整体感知课文,引导学生找出下列两句话,板书在黑板上: Ben is very hot. He is ill. I have a headache. (1)出示单词 hill 来学习其发音,然后出示下列句子,进行巩固操练: The monkey is on the hill. Its ill. The baby elephant is behind the hill. Its ill. 学习句子 Ben is very hot. He is ill.请学生模仿句子说话,如: Im not very hot. Im not ill. is very hot. She is ill. (2)教师指着黑板上的句子 I have a headache.边读边出示单词卡片 headache,并做头痛状,帮助学生理解这个词的含义,然后请学生看看这个单 词的拼写,告诉学生 headache 是由 head 和 ache 两部分组成,是个合成词, head 表示“头” ,ache 表示“痛” ,因而 headache 就是“头痛” 。教学 headache,have a headache,I have a headache.边说边做相应的动作。 3.学习单词 toothache 和句子 I have a toothache. (1)教师做牙痛的动作,请学生自主说出读音及拼写方法,并板书在黑板上 headache 的下方。 (2)教学 toothache,have a toothache,I have a toothache.边说边做相 应的动作。 (3)教师做动作,学生说词组,如:教师做头痛状,学生说 have a headache; 教师做背痛状,学生说 have a backache;教师做耳朵痛状,学生说 have an earache;等等。 4.学习单词 fever 和词组 have a fever,have a cold。 (1)教师做寒冷、咳嗽、打喷嚏状,引出 I have a cold.的句子教学。告诉 学生 cold 这个单词已经学过,是“冷”的意思,是形容词。而在 I have a cold.这个句子中,cold 是名词,是“伤风,感冒”的意思。操练 cold,have a cold,I have a cold.边说边做相应的动词。 (2)教师边说边做 I have a cold.的动作,并拿出体温计做出测量体温的动 作,然后夸张地说:“Oh.I have a fever.”并以同样的方法进行学习活动。 5.游戏我说你做。 游戏规则:教师说句子,学生做动作;教师做动作,学生说句子。先全体后个 别,反应快且做得正确者获胜。 (二)教学单词 wrong,教学句子 Whats wrong with you? 1.请学生翻开课本第 16 页,自读课文对话一遍,再次理解对话所表达的意思, 并根据对话内容,猜测 Whats wrong with you?的含义。 2.学习单词 wrong 和句子 Whats wrong with you? 3.完成课本第 17 页的 Ask and answer.部分。 (1)教师播放录音,学生模仿跟读。 (2)同桌两人进行问答练习,然后请个别学生展示。 (三)巩固课文活动 1.教师播放课文录音或多媒体教学光盘,学生模仿跟读,一边读一边理解课文 大意,在不明白的地方做上记号。 2.教师为学生答疑解难。 3.教师出示下列问题,请学生根据课文内容进行回答: Whats wrong with Ben? What will Sally do? Can Ben go to school today? What will he do? What will Mom do? 4.学生分角色朗读或表演对话。 5.情感教育:当同学、朋友或家人生病时,要主动表达关切之情,并帮助他们 做一些力所能及的事情。 6.完成课本第 20 页的 Learn to write.部分。 (1)学生在课本上独立完成练习,教师巡视。 (2)请四位学生上台,在黑板上写出答案,全班核对。 StepStep 3 3 ExtensionExtension 综合活动:情景表演。 请一学生上台做出一副无精打采的样子,全班学生问:“Whats wrong with you?”该生边做动作边回答:“I have a .”教师提出问题:“What can we do to help him/her?”请学生说一说自己的看法,如: S:Whats wrong with you,A?
