He wants to travel in China. Now he is talking his travel plan with Mike. T: What do you want to know about Jims travel plan? Can you give me some questions? (如果学生不能够提出问题,老师给予帮助,如举例子:Where will Jim travel? .) S: Where will Jim go? How will Jim go? When will Jim leave? What will Jim do? How long will Jim stay?/ How long will Jim take to get there? Whats the weather like? . 【设计意图:引导学生提问,发散学生思维,锻炼学生表达能力。 】 3.播放课件 师播放课件,学生带着问题听短文,并回答问题。 4.再听课件,师提出问题 Q: What does Jim want to know about Kunming? (the weather) Q: If you want to know the weather in Kunming, what can you do? (discuss in pairs) 【设计意图: 同伴讨论,互相激发,引发学生联系生活实际,思考解决问题的多种方式, 想了解某个地方的天气,可以有很多不同的方法。 】 接下来,教师出示提前搜集的北京和昆明天气温度记录,对比两地的温差,理解对话中 four clear seasons 和 it feels like spring all year round. 【设计意图:教师通过展示数据资料,帮助学生了解获取信息的途径,从而理解课文中关于 昆明与北京天气特点的描述,知道昆明作为“春城”的特色缘由。 】 5.学生自读对话前半部分 Q: What are they talking about?
