5、点突破长难句 1.Here are some of our favourites,to remind us that some of the English we learn in the classroom is rather different from the English in the outside world! 本句中的 remind 是“提醒”的意思。其常用结构如下: remind sb to do sth e.g.Could you please remind me (take) my camera tomorrow morning? remind sb of/about s

6、th (译)我忘了提醒他面试的时间。 另外,remind 还有“使想起”的意思。 e.g.The picture reminded me of the happy time we spent together. (译) 2.People say that the British always play safe with what they eat. 本句中 play safe with 是“ ”的意思。What引导 ,充当句中 的宾语。 3.I knew I had done a good job and was looking forward to getting a positive c
