1、Lesson 18 Maddy the Monster 教案 一、教材分析 “Maddy the Monster”是冀教版小学英语四年级第三单元的一节故事课,第三单元的 主题是“All about me”, 本单元已经学习询问与回答年龄、生日、身高、住址、上学方式及 喜欢做的事情,与学生生活紧密联系,为培养学生运用英语进行英语交流打下良好的基础。 本节课为一节故事课,围绕两个主人公 Maddy 和 Anna 的年龄、身高、住址等来创设情境, 锻炼学生的阅读能力和口语交际能力。 二、学生分析 四年级的学生通过一年半的英语的入门学习, 已经积累了一定数量的词汇和语句, 可以 完成简单的日常对话,这

2、就为本节课的学习奠定了一定的基础。而本节课是以一个 monster 为主人公展开,能充分激发学生的想象力,使其乐于表演。 三、教学目标 1)知识目标: a.学生能够利用上下文、插图以及已有的知识理解故事内容,把握细节信息。 b.学生能在图片或教师帮助下表演故事。 2)能力目标 a. 学生能够听懂和理解这个故事。 b .学生能够就故事进行提问和回答。 c .学生能够根据图片和图表复述这个简单的故事。 3)情感、态度、价值观 通过学习本课故事,激发学生读英语小故事的兴趣,增强给他人讲英语故事的自信心。 四、教学重难点 重点:a .复习本单元重要句型. b .通过读故事,提高学生的阅读及听力理解能力

3、,培养英语学习的兴趣。 难点:听懂并理解故事内容,并能运用所学知识进行口语交际。 五、教具准备 多媒体,Maddy 和 Anna 的头饰。 六、教学过程 Step1 Warming up (4 分钟) Greeting T: Im ready for class. Are you ready? S: Yes. T: lets begin our class. S: Stand up .
