Show some pictures of students busy weekends. 2. Teach some new words at the same time. Step 4 Reading 1. Fast Reading Read the passage quickly and answer a question. Do students in other countries take many after-school classes? 2. Reading Strategy First, explain what the strategy is. Second, give students an example. Third, ask students to finish the task by themselves. At last, check the answers together. 3. Careful Reading (1) Ask students to read the passage carefully and find out the persons mentioned in the passage and their opinions. Then fill in the chart. (2) Students need to read again and then answer four questions. After that, check the answers together. 3.After Reading Students first think about their own opinions about the phenomenon. Then students work in pairs to have a talk about the phenomenon and the suitable activities for students to do after school. Step 5 Writing 1. List problems students usually have in their study and life. 2. Ask students who they usually ask for help. 3. Students work in groups to write a short letter to their parent.
