( height & place) Step 3 While-reading 1.Fast-reading (1) Read the article and match each paragraph with the main idea. (2) Check answers with classmates and emphasize the pronunciation of “ achievement ”, “spirit”. 2.Careful-reading (1) a. Read para.1 carefully and list four comparisons. b. Ask students to check answers. (2) a. Listen to Para.2 and try to list three achievements. b. Check answers together. (3) Enjoy a short video and read para.3. After that, please answer questions below: a. Why do so many people try to climb this mountain even though it is dangerous? b. What does the spirit of the climbers tell us? 3.
