Teaching Difficult Points: Learn how to talk about the museums they have ever been to Teaching Aids (教学工具教学工具) an English book and CAI Teaching Steps: Step 1: Review Have the students show themselves.(Role-play the conversation 2d ) Step 2: Leading in Ask some students some questions about 2d. Where have Jill and Anna been? What can they learn in the film museum? Are you interested in the film museum? Some students may answer “yes” or “no”. The teacher uses PPT to show so many other kinds of museums. Then the teacher asks the students “What kind of museum are you interested in? Have some students to answer. At the same time, write down the kinds of museums on the blackboard. (common museums and unusual museums). And talk about the use of the museums, and write them down on the blackboard.(open our minds, learn about the history and developments, better understand something). Then the teacher says, “Now lets enjoy some more museums in the world.” Step 3: Pre-task (准备任务准备任务) 1. Show PPT, have students learn about the three museums. And learn to read the names. 2. Learn the new words through the pictures (PPT) 3. Read the article and match the words with its meaning. Step4: While-task ( 过程任务过程任务) 1. Read the article again, and decide which one is true(T) or false(F)? Check the answers. 2. Read the article again, finish 3a and 3b, underline the answers in the passage, then hands up. Check the answers. 3. Play the tape, have students read at the same time. Give students some time to read the passage with their partners, help each other. Then show themselves. Step5: Post-task (后续任务)后续任务) 1. Show the picture (PPT) of them in Xibaipo Museum. Ask some questions to help students to introduce the museum that they have ever been to and write down what they have said on the blackboard.
