My hobby is swimming Teaching Aims 1.Knowledge Aims: I love swimming for three reasons. First, swimming is great exercise. Second, I like different ways to swim. Third, swimming is fun. 2.Ability Aims: Be able to read the text, and write a short passage about your hobby. Be able to get some reading skills. 3.Emotional Aims: Hobby is the first step to learn, so cultivate your interest and learn it hard. Teaching Key & Difficult points 1.Key points: first, second, third. 2.Difficult points: Swimming is great exercise. I like different ways to swim. Swimming is fun. Teaching Aids Pictures, multi-media and papers. Teaching Process 1.Warm Up Lets Guess T: Lets play a game. Look at the boy, what is his hobby? Here are some tips, red, pencil, green, picture, and yellow, who can guess? S1: He likes drawing. T: Good, and this boy, what is his hobby? S2: T: About me, I like drawing. What about you? What is your hobby? S3: 2.Presentation (1) T: Look at the boy, what is his hobby? Lets read the passage and find the answer, you can underline the key sentences. Q1: What is his hobby? Q2: How many reasons does he like it? Students read the passage and underline the key words or sentences. (设计意图：学生通读全文，回答老师提出的两个问题，抓住文章大意。) S1: He likes swimming. T: How do you know it? S1: From the title. (设计意图：告诉学生一种阅读技巧，在阅读文本的时候标题也是非常重要的一部分。) S2: He likes swimming for three reasons. (2) Q: What are the reasons? Read the passage again and underline the key sentences. Invite a student to the board and underline the key words: first, second, third. Teach these three new words by phonics. (设计意图：再读文本，掌握文本结构与部分细节。) (3) Read the first reason and do the T or F (F ) When you swim, you only use your hands. (T ) You will feel good after you swim. Q: Why swimming is great exercise? Choose some students to show their opinions. T: Swimming can exercise our vital capacity. Listen and repeat. (设计意图：掌握细节，向学生介绍游泳还可以锻炼肺活量，拓展知识。) (4) Choose a student to read the second reason for us. Q: Which way of swimming does he like best? S1: The butterfly. Q: Who can swim and which way of swimming do you like best? Teacher introduces some ways of swimming: breaststroke, backstroke and the free style. And do the actions to help students understand these words. (设计意图：介绍几种常用的游泳方式，拓展知识。) (5) Read the third reason together and try to retell this paragraph according to the mind map. Give students 3 minutes to prepare and then choose 3 students to show. (设计意图：让学生尝试用思维导图进行复述，培养学生运用语言的能力，发挥语言的 语用功能。) (6) Summarize the whole passage together with students. He likes swimming for three reasons. First, swimming is great exercise. Second, he likes different ways of swimming. Third, swimming is fun. (设计意图：使学生对通篇文本有一个结构性的认识，掌握大体框架，为后面的写作做 铺垫。) 3.Production (1) Thinking Time: What should we pay attention to when we swim? Students have 3 minutes to discuss with their partners, then volunteer to answer it. T: First, you cant swim in the lake or the river. Second, you cant swim alone. Third, you have to warm up before you swim. (设计意图：知识拓展也是情感渗透，告诉学生游泳的注意事项。) (2) Writing Time: Write a short passage to introduce your hobby. ( What, When, How many, Why. ) Show them a sample and some tips. Students have 5 minutes to prepare, then volunteer to read the passages. (设计意图：通过对文章的阅读，学生已知如何介绍自己的兴趣爱好，写作的设计是想 让学生学会从几个主要方面将自己的兴趣爱好介绍的更系统。) 4Homework (1) Draw a mind map of the text and retell. (2) Do a survey of your friends hobbies. 5. Blackboard Design My hobby is swimming First great exercise Second different ways Third fun 教学反思教学反思：本节课是阅读课，重点培养学生的阅读技巧和理解能力，我以“Lets guess” 进行导入，给出单词或者图片的提示，让学生猜测，训练句型 I like ，之后进行几组简单 的“free talk”，自然的过渡到文章中的小男孩，问小男孩的爱好是什么，让学生带着问题 第一次阅读文本，引导他们说出 titleMy hobby is swimming, 实际上也是在告诉学生阅读 策略标题的重要性。授课环节中，关于小男孩喜欢游泳的原因，我分段讲解，并引导学 生划出关键词：first，second，third。告诉学生，每一个段落的第一个单词也尤其重要。 最后在写作部分，让学生介绍自己的兴趣爱好，我要求介绍两个原因即可，有些程度较好 的同学能写出三个。本篇文本内容较多，难点也不少，但从孩子们的反馈来看，掌握的还 算不错，但是在输出部分，为什么喜欢，部分孩子说不出原因，我认为跟孩子们思维没有 打开并且语言能力有限有关，所以在日后的教学中我应该更注重培养学生的思维品质，提 升英语作为语言的语用功能。
