Read and say 教学目标: 1. 能够听、说、读、写表示 1-6 月的单词,并能认识其简写形式: January (Jan.), February (Feb.), March (Mar.), April (Apr.), May, June (Jun.)。 2.初步了解各个月份中一些节日的英语表达方法,并能够读出来: New Years Day, winter vacation, Tree Planting Day 等等。 3.能够使用句型:When is Tree Planting Day? Its in March. 教学重点: 逐步学会听、说、读、写 6 个月份的单词:January , February, March, April, May, June。 教学难点: 1.正确拼写这六个月份。 2.根据实际情况判断句子的正误并进行相应的修改。 教具准备:课件、单词卡片 教学过程: Step1 Warm up 1. Greeting each other T: Class begins! Ss: Stand up! T: Good afternoon, boys and girls. Ss: Good afternoon, Miss Han. T: Nice to meet you! Ss: Nice to meet you, too. T: Sit down, please. Ss: Thank you! 2. Preview T: Boys and girls, before our learning, I want to ask you a question. Listen carefully and think, “How many seasons are there in a year?” 学生思考并回答: “There are four seasons.” T: Yes, there are four seasons in a year. Do you know what are they? Ss: Spring, summer, autumn and winter.(教师展示 PPT 第 3 页,显示春 夏秋冬四季) 。 T: There are four seasons in a year, and there are three months in each season, so do you know “How many months in a year?”(出示 PPT 第 4 页)再询问学生“months” 的意思,学生不清楚, (出示 12 月份图 片) ,老师带领学生一起数数月份共 12 月,学生答“月份” 。教师再 说: “There are 12 months in a year, but do you know what are they?”学 生答不知道。教师说: “Dont worry, lets listen to a song about the 12 months.”教师播放歌曲. 歌曲播放完问学生了解 12 月份了吗?学生会说了解,教师带领学生开始学习新单词。 Step2 Presentation 1. Lets learn (1) January 的教读 T: Boys and girls, we have a big holiday at the first day of the first month, its “New Years Day”. Whats the meaning?(出示 PPT 第 5 页) Ss:新年。 T: Yes, in China we also call it “Yuan Dan”. So do you know when is New Years Day? Ss: 1 月 1 日。 T: Good, its in January. 出示 “January”,教师用升降调教读单词,之 后小组点读的形式进行练习检查学生掌握情况。读会之后,学生伸 出手指拼读单词,教师板书“January” 。Its a long word, so we can write “Jan.” for short.告诉学生简写形式。之后进行句子练习,问: When is New Years Day? Ss: January。此时教师引导句子 “Its in January.”学生齐读句子。 T: We know its cold in January, do you want to get up early in the morning to go to school? 学生会说 No。T: I also dont want to go to school, so we can have a holiday, its “winter vacation”. (出示 PPT 第 6 页)教读此短语。出示句子 “When is winter vacation?” 学生答 “Its in January.”齐读这两个句子。 (2)February 的教读 T: January is cold, but the second month is still cold, we can make some snowmen in the cold winter, yes? 学生答:Yes! T: But the second month we call it “February”.教读单词 February。 (采 用小组开火车的形式读单词,以检测学生的认读情况。 )学生拼写, 教师板书单词 February,并出示其简写形式 Feb.。教师引导:Just now we know the winter vacation is in January. Now its in February. So “When is winter vacation?” 学生答:Its in January and February.齐读 句子。 (3)March 的教读 T: Do you like winter vacation? Yes, I also like winter vacation. We can play all day. But now its warm, we should go outside to do more good things. Do you think so? 学生答:Yes. (出示 PPT 第 9 页) T: We can do something like the girl, whats the girl doing? 学生答:种 树浇水。T: Yes, she is planting and watering a tree. When should we plant a tree? 学生答:3 月 12 日,植树节。T:In English we call it “Tree Planting Day”. 教读短语 Tree Planting Day,并说:Tree Planting Day is in March.教师教读 March(大小声练习单词),并拼读,然后教 师板书单词 March,并出示简写 Mar.。 T: Boys and girls, now do you know “When is Tree Planting Day?” 学生 答:Its in March. 教师再询问:植树节是什么时候?How to say? 学 生说英语:When is Tree Planting Day?教师板书句子,并找学生回答 “Its in March.”学生齐读。 (4)April 的教读 T:After Tree Planting Day, well have a big party. Look, whats this? (出示 PPT 第 10 页) 学生答:Egg。T:Yes, its Easter eggs, and there is an Easter Bunny. So guess, whats the party? 学生答:复活节。 T:Easter Party! 教读此短语。并询问意思“复活节派对” 。接着说: The party is in April. April is after March, so which month it is? (教师伸 出手势 4 给学生提示)学生答:四月。教读 April, 并拼写,教师板书 单词 April,之后出示缩写 Apr.。 T:Easter Party is in April, and in April well have another activity. (出示 PPT 第 11 页) Look, the students are running, theyre having a sports meet. 教读短语 sports meet。 (出示 PPT 第 12 页)练习句型 “When is _? Its in _.”让学生自己根据提示来填词造句,句子如下: When is Easter Party? Its in April. When is the sports meet? Its in April. (5) May 的教读 T: After April, well have a big national holiday, whats this? (出示 PPT 第 13 页)学生看图说出:五一劳动节。教师说:May Day. Its in May. 教读单词 May.(提醒学生注意 ay 发音/ei/ )。 (出示 PPT 第 14 页)展示五月的其他节日以及活动并教读:May Day, Mothers Day, school trip, singing contest. (6)June 的教读 T: Just now there is a holiday for our mother, its “Mothers Day”. There is also a holiday for us children, whats this? 学生猜出儿童节(出示 PPT 第 16 页)教读 Childrens Day. The Childrens Day is in June.教读 June,拼写并板书,之后出示其缩写 Jun.。同样的方式引出 Fathers Day。 Step3 Consolidation & Extension 1、教师带领学生复习这六个单词,并采用快速点读游戏激起学生兴 趣。 (出示 PPT 第 17 页)提问学生,每月份所含有的节日和活动, 比赛谁的记性好。目的是带领学生复习所有的节日以及其对应的月 份。 2、 (出示 PPT 第 18 页)Read quickly.通过打地鼠游戏来训练学生对 所学单词以及短语的认识,提高学生的积极性。 3、 (出示 PPT 第 19 页)Pair work. 同桌根据图片操练句型“When is _? Its in _.”,并挑 4 组学生站起来展示,教师给予 鼓励。 4、打开课本第 25 页,听录音,带领学生读 Lets learn 中的句子, 之后做 Read and say,并让学生齐读一遍加深印象。 Step 4 Summing up 1教师带领学生一起看黑板,总结今天所学的六个单词和一个句型。 2.
