Show the picture of a tree, an apple tree . many apple trees, its an orchard ,then Zip. 3. Guess what they will do here?(Maybe they will.) Play the flash of “Story time” and find the answer to “What will they do here?”. 4. Explain “race” “have a race” 5. Guess and say “Who will win the race, Zoom or Zip?” First, show and guess(Zoom-tall-easy, Zip-short-cant reach,so Zoom will win), Then , look at the end of the story (Zip won). After that, ask “How many apples does Zip have at last?” “How many apples does Zoom have?” “Why ?” Finally, watch the flash again and sum up the cause of Zoom s failure(He doesnt have a right tool to put the apples which he picks. So most of his apples drop. But Zip has , and she follows and picks them up . So Zip won) to understand the story . 6. Think and say “Do you want to learn from Zoom? If you are Zoom, what will you do next time? Will you do like this?” “How to do?” (First, find a tool which can put apples. Then,pick apples. As the saying goes:A workman must first sharpen his tools if he is to do his work well ) . 7. Repeat the story(read and act out the story with your partner). 8. Check your memory (speak loudly) 9. Retell the story (Fill in the blanks) and finish the blackboard. ( One day, Zoom and Zip come to an orchard, they see many apples . Then they have a race . Zoom is tall . Its easy for him .
