There are forty. 教学难点: 学生能够正确地使用目标语言于实际生活中,并能准确地用英 语表达相关数字。 学情分析: 四年级学生大概在十岁左右,有了一定的英语语言基础。但天 性活泼好动,注意力不稳定、不持久,难于长时间注意同一件 事物,所以教学设计的生动性和趣味性就显得尤为重要。此外, 本课是第二单元的第二课时,学生对于本单元的知识构成是有 了一定了解的,对于本课的目标语是熟悉的,这就使得学生再 次接触句型时并不陌生,操练起来很容易上手。 教学过程: Step 1. Warm-up 1. Ask and answer questions. “How many?” “There are” 设计意图: 简短的几个问题不但练习了上节课的句型,也为 情境中人物 Peter 的引出和 chant 的出现做好铺垫。 2. Lets chant together. 文本一: How many students are there in Kates class? There are twenty-nine. How many students are there in your class? There are forty-six. How many students are there in Peters class? Can you guess? 设计意图: 通过问答引出文本内容,创设本课的情境,不但 增加了学生学习英语的兴趣,也巩固复习了上一节 课的句型,同时为接下来第二个文本的出现埋好伏 笔。 Step 2. Presentation 1. Read the passage and answer the questions. 文本二:Good morning, boys and girls. Im Peter. Let me introduce something about my class.Miss Green is our new English teacher. We welcome her to our class. There are forty students in our class. There are thirty boys and only ten girls .I love my teacher and I love my class, too. 设计意图: 把本篇对话以文本的形式呈现给学生,不但培养 了四年级学生语篇的概念,同时也让学生对课文 内容有一个整体的把握。 Question 1: How many students are there in Peters class? 引出三会单词 forty Question 2: How many boys? 引出四会单词 boy practise sentences: 三会单词 thirty How many? Question 3: How many girls? There are 引出四会单词 girl Question 4: What does “only” mean in this sentence? 通过选择的形式讲解“only” Question 5: Who is Peters new English teacher? 引出句子 Miss Green is our new English teacher. 并通过选择的方式讲解 Mr 和 Miss. 设计意图: 几个问题的设置解决了本课的三四会单词和目标语 言。此外,让孩子们能从原文中找到问题答案的环 节也为孩子们能形成好的阅读技巧做好了铺垫。 2. Listen to the tape and answer the other questions. (1)How do they welcome Miss Green? 引出句子 Welcome to our class. (2)Whats Miss Greens first question? 引出句子 How many students are there in your class? There are forty. 设计意图: 通过听对话的形式让学生再次感知课文内容,突破 文中难点,并呈现目标语言(板书) 。 3. Listen to the second time and complete the dialogue. 设计意图: 第二遍听的过程就是还原课文的过程,让学生们带 着任务去听,理清对话结构,完成课文的学习。 Step 3. Comprehension 1. Read after the teacher. 2. Read together. 设计意图: 跟读和齐读的过程就是再次让学生巩固加深课文内 容、注意人物关系的过程。 3. Prepare this dialogue in groups and then act. 设计意图: 让孩子们在小组内合作完成表演对话的任务,不但 让孩子们体验了小组合作的形式来完成任务,也增 加了英语学习的趣味性,同时也让不同英语水平的 孩子都得到了锻炼。 4. Make a short passage about Peters class. 文本三:There are _ in Peters class. There are _ and _. Miss Green is _. Peter 设计意图: 再次呈现一个和对话相关的文本,这个文本是区别 于前面文本的。以第三人称的形式呈现,引入了单词 “their” ,为学生拓展了知识面,在自然而然中生成 了新的知识,同时也为我作业的布置做好了示范。 5. Lets chant together. 文本四:How many students? There are forty students. How many boys? There are thirty boys. How many girls? There are ten girls. 设计意图: 再次以问答的形式呈现出歌谣的内容,不但巩固复 习了目标语言,也增加了学习的趣味性,完成了教 学任务的同时也让学生能以更好的状态进入到下一 环节。 Step 4. Additional activities 1. Make up a new dialogue in groups by using the sentences “How many ?” “There are” 设计意图: 这个环节的设计是希望孩子们能结合所学的知识, 创设新的情境,去实际地操练语言、运用语言。让 英语学习能真真正正地落到实处。 2. Find the numbers in our life. 文本五:There are _ seasons in a year. There are _ months in a year. There are _ months in a season. There are _ days in a week. There are _ hours in a day. Homework Must do Remember these words and sentences. Choose to do 1. Write down a short passage about your class. 2.找到生活中其他关于数字的话题,试着用英文去表达。 设计意图: 层次性作业的设置体现了差异性教学,满足于不同 层次学生的需求。让每个层次的学生都有事可做, 真正将英语学习回归本真。 教学反思: 最初设计这节课时用的就是常规的教学模式,在试讲过程中, 学生的学习能力并没有得到充分地提高。所以后来我改进了这 节课的教学模式,通过文本的再构,创设一定的情境,让学生 习得本课的知识。通过这样的尝试,学生的学习能力得到了一 定的提高,在巧设文本的基础上将本课的重难点逐一突破。本 节课不但让学生得到了高密度、大强度的训练,也注重了对学 生思维能力的训练和综合语言运用能力的培养。通过任务驱动 的形式,达成本课的教学目标,大大提高了课堂效率,同时也 增加了英语学习的趣味性。
