We need to learn the sentences: “What do you do on the weekend?” “I usually.”. It is related to the students life, so they have interest to study. Students analysis The students in Grade Five have already learned English more than two years. They have a lot of knowledge to learn the text. For example, we learned some knowledge about the week last term. So they can grasp the text. Teaching aims 1. Be able to listen, read and use the sentences: “What do you do on the weekend?” “I usually.” 2. Be able to listen, say and read the words and phrases:why, shop, last, sound, also, busy, need. 3. Be able to communicate in real life according to the knowledge of the text. 4. Develop students team spirit and love their families. Teaching key and difficult points Key points: 1. Then lead out the sentences: “You are so busy. You need a robot to help you. “ b. PPT shows some funny pictures, and let students feel relax. Then lead out the sentences: “That sounds like a lot of fun.” 2. Play a game: Bomb Let students read phrases. PPT shows some phrases one by one, and some words with the bomb. If the phrases with the pictures of the bomb, students should put their hands on the head to hide the bomb. Longer and longer Give students the example about making the sentences longer and longer.
