Discuss and guess 教师引出绘本主人公 Danny,并引导学生进行小组讨论猜测绘本主人公 Danny 周末有什么活动。 T: Today we have a new friend. His name is Danny. He wants to show his weekend, too. What can he do on the weekend? Can you guess? 【设计意图】通过引出 Danny,学生对这位绘本主角产生了好奇心,并由此进行小组讨论,培 养学生对故事分析预测的能力。 2. View the pictures 教师先不呈现文字内容,只呈现绘本图片。教师引导学生观察图片,学生验证之前的猜测,并 尝试描述 Danny 的周末生活。T:What time is it? What can he do? 【设计意图】教师先不呈现绘本内容,只出现绘本图片,给学生更大的想象空间,并引导学生 观察图片,使学生加深对绘本的理解,学会观察绘本,看到图画背后传达的信息。 3. Lets match 教师让学生拿出装着绘本文字内容和图片的信封,小组合作进行绘本图文匹配。 【设计意图】教师引导学生进行绘本图文匹配,学生能初步感知文本内容,进而为课堂的进阶 学习打下扎实的基础。 4. Listen and check 教师播放绘本录音,学生听录音验证图文匹配的答案。 【设计意图】通过听绘本录音验证答案,学生能有目的地去听录音,更能聚焦到周末活动的语 言知识点上。 5. Read and underline 学生把 Danny 周末的活动短语下划线,教师询问学生每幅图片下划线的短语,并请学生上台把 对应的短语贴在黑板上,完成 Dannys weekend 的思维导图。贴完短语后,教师教学短语,并引导 学生把短语表演出来。教师在教学短语的过程中引导学生感知 for hours 的意义,并用图片来解释 for hours 的意思。 【设计意图】学生通过下划线动词短语,完成思维导图,有助于学生梳理故事要点,更好地理 解故事内容,为接下来的角色扮演与复述做下铺垫。学生通过把动词短语表演出来,能够更形象地 感知和理解绘本中的重点短语,也为接下来的读者剧场活动的表演打下基础。 Step 3 Practice 1. If he is happy, how do you read “I like the weekend.”? 【设计意图】让学生大声模仿,表演动作,跟读绘本,体会地道的语言。教师引导学生体会文 本中的感情,有助于学生更具感情地朗读绘本、表演绘本。 (2) Readers Theater 教师引导学生演出 Danny 的周末活动,T:If you are Danny, you often sleep in for hours. Can you act it out? 教师先请几位学生上台一起做示范,再进行小组角色扮演练习,最后教师请小组上台进行 表演。 【设计意图】学生通过有趣的表演形式巩固故事情节与新学单词,提高运用语言的能力,培养 学生的合作精神以及合作意识。 Step 4 Production 1. Think and Discuss 教师询问学生关于 Danny 周末活动的看法,并逐个分析 Danny 的活动,最后让学生小组讨论 更科学的周末规划并以小组为单位提出建议。 T: What do you think of Dannys weekend? Ss: Its a happy/busy. weekend. T: Is he happy? But why is he crying?
