Read and write ,以培养学生 “乐读善思”的英语阅读能力为前提,运用 DRTA 教学法, 重在引导学生养成预测-阅读-重新思考的自主学习习惯,激 发学生的想象力和创造力,使学生的主体作用得以发挥, 语言能力和思维能力得以发展。 二、教学背景 1.教学内容分析 本文以主人翁 Sarsh 和 Robin 参观动物园为故事背景, 详细描述了 Robin 看到各种动物时的激动心情,以及动物 们正在进行的各种活动,并进行模仿。 本堂课则以此内容作为教学:通过跟随 Robin 参观动 物园,观察动物正在干什么,如 dancing、eating、running、walking、flying、swimmi ng 等等,并引导学生体会 Robin 在参观动物园时的心情, 然后模仿动物,以此激发学生的思维,创编故事,培养学 生爱护动物的意识。 2. 学生情况分析 本课的教学对象是五年级的学生,他们喜欢故事阅读, 天性活泼善于想象、喜欢学习英语,且在两年多的学习中 积累了一定的词汇和语言输出欲望,能就动物及活动作简 单描述。根据学生水平对故事进行创编,旨在充分激发学 生的想象力,培养其创新意识和批判性思维。 三、教学目标 1.语言知识目标: 1) 能在情景中借助视频、音频、涂、文听懂、理解、认 读单词:excited、like;掌握句型 I am +doing +like +animal . 2) 能听懂理解故事内容 2. 语言技能目标 1) 能根据图片有感情地朗读故事目标内容 2) 能借助图片对文中进行理解并排序;能听懂课文相关 问题并回答,能够借助图片填空,培养学生综合运用 语言的能力 3) 能根据故事内容合理的续编故事,培养学生的语言运 用能力及创新思维。 3.学习策略目标 1) 能运用教学法 DRTA 进行预测-阅读-重新思考。 2) 能在教师帮助下积极尝试在情景中理解、认读新单词。 3) 能积极借助图片认真倾听、观察思考、展开想象。 4) 能借助合作学习、及时补充弥补不足,主动学习、勤 于思考,乐于表达自己的观点。 4.情感态度目标 1) 能在情景中积极思考、展开想象,共享思维飞翔的乐 趣。 2) 乐于英语学习,享受英语学习 3) 培养学生热爱大自然,保护动物的意识。 4) 通过本课学习,更加勤于思考、鲨鱼观察,富于想象 乐于探究。 四、教学重、难点 1.教学重点 1) 绝大多数学生能听懂、会说 excitedlike 等单词和句 型 I am like。 2) 能够按正确的语音、语调、意群阅读故事。 2. 教学难点 合理续编故事激发学生的想象力和创新思维能力。 五、教学过程设计 Step 1 Warming-up 1) Greeting 2) Game: I say, You do Teacher show and say the word: Jump, run, flay Ss say the sentence and do the action: I am jumping. I am running. 3) Task-presentation and divide the students into 7 groups Task : Look at the picture, guess where are they? Good. they are in the zoo. Do you want to go to the zoo? Look, I have many zoo tickets. If you finish the tasks, you can get the zoo tickets. Now I divide you into 9 groups. Step 2 Pre-reading 1) Know the story “Robin at the zoo” and discuss T: Read the title, we know Robin is at the zoo now. Please guess what animals can Robin see at the zoo? Robin sees cat, dog, duck ,giraffe. Ss guess 2) Have the students to read the story and check the answers. “what animals can Robin see?” 3) teach the word “excited” T: Robin sees so many animals, how does he feel? Is he happy? Afraid? Sad? now lets listen and read the story and tell me , how did he feel? Ss: He is excited. (pass the card to learn the word “excited”) Look at the pictures and say how to feel? “ excited” or “sad” T:Robin is excited. Why? Because Robin says Im looking at _. Ss: Im looking at bear/ rabbits . Step 3 While-reading 1) Read the story and say what are the animals doing? T: What are the animals doing?(第二次预测) Ss:(read and finish the task) have the students to read the story by yourselves, 1 then underline the key words. group work to discuss “ what are the animals 2 doing?” check the answer. 3 2) Read the story and say what is Robin doing? T: Robin is looking at the animals ,(引导学生做动作说) The bear is _. He is excited. What is he doing now? Ss:(read and finish the task) The new sentence “ I am like ”for students and group work to finish the task “ what is he doing?” 3) Practices the sentences Have the students to look at the pictures and say the sentences : Im _ liking _. 4) look, listen and say “Is Robin swimming like a fish?” T: Is Robin swimming like a fish? How do you know? Ss: No. Robin says : “ No!No! I dont want to be a fish!” (让学生猜猜 Robin 的心情,并带感情的朗读这句话) Step5 post-reading 1. Listen and repeat Have the students to listen the text and read fellow the Tape. Then the teacher instructed the students to read aloud. 2. Read and act Have the students to look at the picture and retell the text. Robin is excited, but he cant express. Why? Because Robin is a robot. Please help him. Step 6 Expansion 1. continue to write T:Now , look here. Youve got many tickets you can go to the zoo. But before that you must pay attention to the signs. Are you clear? Now lets go to the Zoo. T: Welcome to the zoo! Just now Robin and Sarah meet the animals at the zoo, such as bear, rabbits, elephant, bird, monkey, tiger and fish. What animal will you meet?
