1、Pep6 Unit6 Work quietly C story time 1设计思路 本课属于故事教学,目的在于通过故事创设真实的情境,问题引导,让学生观察,预测,问问题,听、说、读、写 等方式,整体感知 Zip 和 Zoom 在电影院里观影的一些事情,进而巩固本单元核心语句,了解故事胡隐含信息, 引导学生争做文明之人。 2教学目标 1. 知识目标: 通过阅读趣味故事,复习巩固本单元所学语言,增加学生语言的输入。 The gorilla is eating a banana./Im eating popcorn. Its so big and strong./ Its so exciting.

2、 Talk quietly./Keep clean./ Look at the sign. 2.能力目标: (1)绝大多数学生在图片的帮助下当堂能听懂、会读 gorilla,popcorn,sign,exciting 等单词。 (2)大部分学生在图片和动画展播的帮助下能够理解故事内容能够朗读故事;能够表演故事;能恰当运用故事中的 语言表达自己的想法。 (3)能够在阅读过程中掌握一些阅读技巧如:略读,精读等。 情感目标: 培养学生遵守社会公德意识及责任感,渗透文明要从小事做起 从我做起。1. 知识目标: 通过阅读趣味故事,复习巩固本单元所学语言,增加学生语言的输入。 The gorilla is

4、识及责任感,渗透文明要从小事做起 从我做起。 3学情分析 本课的学习主体是五年级的学生,因为本课时是本学期最后一个单元最后一个课时,且本单元的主要知识点就是 现在进行时,所以学生对于本课时出现的现在进行时 Im eating popcorn. /The gorilla is eating a banana.很 容易掌握。 在图片的帮助下,大部分学生也能够猜出 gorilla/popcorn/sign/exciting 等词义,只是读音方面需要教师 采取分音节等方法让学生尽快掌握。 另外五年级的学生有一定的思维能力,也有自己的想法,因此教学方法上不可 单一和死板,教学过程应注重引导和发散,如:创

5、设情境给予他们表达想法的空间,从而达到故事教学的情感教育目 的。 4重点难点 能够理解故事内容; 能够根据语境和图片猜词义; 能够根据故事内容用英语表达自己的想法。 5教学过程 5.1第六学时 5.1.1教学活动 活动 1【导入】Prestory I.Pre-story 1. The teacher greets with the students. 2. Make the students listen ,sing the song, “school days” then tell how to be a good student. T:Today well learn Unit 6 “Wo

6、rk quietly,c ,story time”.First, lets listen and sing a song together. After that tel l me how to be a good student? Ss:Work quietly. /Talk quietly./ Take turns./ Keep to the right. T: Besides them,what else do we need to do ? Ss: Keep the desk clean. T: Awsome answer. As we know, “ work quietly, ta

7、ke turns, keep to the right.” They are civilized behavior. And you know ,as a good student, what you need to do .Do you know what about Zoom? Is Zoom a good student? Now look at this picture. 设计意图:拉近教师与学生之间的距离,为故事学习做准备. 活动 2【讲授】Whilestory Step1 Predicting Activity 1 Look at the pictures and guess. T

8、:Look at this picture.What do you see? Ss: I see. T: What do you want to know about the story?Can you ask questions? S:Where are Zoom and Zip ? What are they doing? T:Good questions.Now lets watch the vedio and answer the questions. 设计意图:看图片帮助学生大致了解故事中的人物、地点和事件,从而预知故事内容。 Activity 2 Watch the vedio a

9、nd answer the questions. T:Where are Zoom and Zip ? S: They are at the cinema. T: What are they doing? S: Theyre seeing a film. 设计意图:整体呈现故事让学生观看视频感知故事内容。 Step2 Skimming Activity3 Read picture1 and picture 2 to predict and answer the questions. 1.look and predict. T: Zoom and Zip are seeing a film.Lo

10、ok at picture 1 and picture 2 , can you guess what are they talking about ? Can you ask questions ? S: What is the gorrila doing? 设计意图:通过让学生观察,预测,问问题培养学生获取信息的能力。 2.Read and find the answer. Q1: What is the film about? Q2:What is the animal in the film doing? T:Who can answer the questions? S:It is a

11、bout a gorrila. The gorrila is eating a banana. T: Do you know this film?Look at this picture.(The teacher introduce the film ,”king kong”.) 设计意图:通过介绍电影金刚获取故事隐藏的文化知识。 Activity4 .Make the students look at the pictures 3,4,5,6 and predict,then read and answer the questions. 1.Look and predict. T: The

12、film is great.But look at the tiger and rabbit, are they happy ? S: No, they arent. T: What do you want to know? Can you ask questions? S:Why are the tiger and rabbit not happy ? T: Who can guess what happens? S: Maybe. 设计意图:通过引导学生问问题,并回答问题,训练学生的思维能力及口语表达能力。 2.Read the picture3,4,5 and answer questi

13、ons. T: Why arethe tiger and rabbit not happy ? S: Because Zoom and Zip are talking.Zoom is eating popcorn. They are making noise. T:Match the word “popcorn” with the picture. 设计意图:训练学生默读和扫读并获取信息的能力。 3.Look at picture 6 and predict what happens,then read and answer the questions. 1).Look and say. T:

14、 Look at picture 6 .Now Zoom and Zip are quiet. Look at this picture, what happens? S:Its not clean. T: What can you see in the picture? S: I can see. T: Whats the sign about on the wall ? Ss: Keep clean. 2)Make the students talk about the rule at the cinema. T: Thats for the story.So ,what should Z

15、oom do at the cinama? Ss: Talk quietly.Keep clean. T:We should talk quietly and keep clean at the cinema. 设计意图:训练学生观察图片并挖掘故事的隐含信息。 活动 3【活动】Poststory Step1.Performing Activity 5. Practise the story in reading. 1. Follow the tape to read the story. 2. Read the story in roles. 3.Practise the story with

16、 partners. 4.Act out the story with evaluation norms.(Speak English well.Act vividly. Act creatively.) 5.Present the story they are making up.设计意图:鼓励学生模仿故事并用自己创造性的方式流利地阅读故事。充分发 挥学生的自主意识,调动学生积极参与的能力。 Step2.Tell Zoom more signs. T: There is only one sign at the cinema.Lets tell Zoom more signs ,OK? Ss

17、: No eating! No talking! No smoking!. 设计意图:扩展更多的文明标志,倡导学生做文明人。 Step3. Retell the story. Students fill in the blanks to read the story. 设计意图:通过复述故事,巩固所学内容。 Step4.Enjoy a vedio about civilization. T: Zoom knows the civilized behavior.He wants to be a civilized person .Now lets enjoy a vedio about how

Students say the civilized behavior about what we should do in the public palce. 设计意图:培养学生遵守社会公德意识及责任感,渗透文明要从小事做起,从我做起。 活动 4Eomotional education To be a civilized person ,our hometown will be more beautiful! 活动 5Summary What have you learned this lesson? 活动 6Homework Choose one of them.(选择其中一种) 1.Listen to the tape and follow to read 10 more mintues.(听录音并跟读 10 分钟以上。) 2.Retell the story to your parents.(给父母复述故事。) 3.Make a poster about how to be a civilized citzen.做一张有关怎样才能成为文明公民的海报。)
