Tell What It Is by Feeling 教学反思教学反思 本学期公开教学已落下帷幕,在此次公开教学活动中,我 讲的是川教版小学英语六年级下册第二单元第三课Tell What It Is by Feeling的第一课时,课后经过仔细反思,我总结了以下 几点: 一、整个课堂的设计,我力求把英语的听、说、读、写、玩 演、与学生的实际情况相结合,力求做到尽善尽美,但结果却 不是特别如意,有顾此失彼的现象。如:在教授单词的环节可 再多用句型来巩固练习,但是又考虑到时间的有限,因此训练 不到位。 二、关于单词发音的教学,我只对个别单词采用了自然拼 读法,对于浊辅音的发音,很多学生在发音时不够准确,听起 来就像没发这个音一样,在这一点上我没有引起足够的重视, 今后要注重引导学生单词的正确拼读。 三、关于语法知识的教学,本课重点掌握感官动词的使用, 涉及到主语是第三人称时,动词要用第三人称单数形式,在课 中我只简单地提醒学生注意,没有特别强调,以至于在后面句 子呈现时部分学生没有引起足够重视,句子出现语法错误。 四、关于练习题的设计,本课的练习题量有些少,题的难度 不够,学生看似掌握好了,实则还存在一些问题。以后的练习 题设计应该要考虑到题量及难度,根据学生的学习情况来练习。 公开课使人成长,我争取在今后的课堂教学中取长补短、 再接再厉,努力让自己的课堂再上一个新台阶。 Tell What It Is by Feeling Lesson 3 What did you have this morning? -How does it taste ? -It tastes _ . Homework 1.Read the new words for five times each. 2.Use the new sentences to describe something. 1 Lesson 3 Tell What It Is by Feeling Teaching Plan 2 .Teaching contents 1. New words: taste delicious, sound noisy, smell sweet, look dirty/clean, look heavy/light. 2. New sentences: -How does it feel/smeel/taste/sound/look? -It feels/smells/tastes/sounds/looks_. .Teaching Aims 1. Knowledge aims Ss can understand and read the new words. 2. Ability aims Ss can use the sentence patterns freely. 3. Emotional Aims To help Ss form a good habit of care for the environment. .Key points and difficult points 1. Key points Students can master the new verb phrases. 2. Difficult points Students can use sentence pattern to describe something. “How does it feel/smell/taste/sound/look?” ”It feels/smells/tastes/sounds/looks _.” .Teaching Aids PPT and pictures .Analysis of the students The students in Grade 6 have learnt basic English words and structures before. The y are very interested in English and they have basic knowledge of English. They have strong desire to learn more knowledge. .Teaching Procedures Step 1 Warm-up 1. Greetings T: Hello, boys and girls. Nice to meet you. Ps: Hello, Miss Wu. Nice to meet you, too. 2. Free-talk T: What did you have for breakfast this morning? T: I had some milk and bread. What did you have this morning? P1:I had some bread. T: Good! How does it taste? (Teacher does the action and shows the meaning of the 3 word) T: How does it taste? Delicious, right? Ps: Yes. T: We can say “It tastes delicious.” P5:It tastes delicious. Learn the new words. 3. Lead-in T: I had some fruits, too.(Show the picture of the food) Can you guess which kind of fruit it is? Its in my magic box. You can touch and guess.Who can try? P2:I can try. T: How does it feel? What does feel mean? Ps: T:It means “摸起来,感觉”. Can you tell what it is by feeling?(PPT shows the title) Today well learn Lesson 3 Tell What It Is by Feeling. Step 2 Presentation 1. Learn new words and sentences. T:How does it feel? P3: T:It feels round.(ppt shows the picture to help students understand ) Anything else? P4: It feels soft/ smooth. According to students answer and learn the other new words. T: Boys and girls, whats this? Ps: Rose. T: How does it smell? Do you know smell? P5:It smells sweet/nice. According to students answer and ppt shows the other new words. 2. In the same way, learn other verb phrases one by one. Students read the words one by one or group by group. Teacher helps them to learn the pronunciation of the words. 3. Practice new words and sentences. (1).Show a lucky wheel, students practice new words. Teacher turns the lucky wheel, when it stops, students read the words loudly. T: I have a lucky wheel for you. Lets see what youll get. Which group can be the first one? T:Are you ready, Group four ?Go! 4 When the teacher stops the lucky wheel, students read the word loudly. Ps: taste delicious. In the same, each group practices the words. Teacher helps them correct their pronunciation. (2). Play a guessing game. T:Now lets play a guessing game. There are some lucky bags, each group will get one bag. Then work in groups, try to describe it and write down the sentences. At last, Ill ask one student to read aloud and the other students guess what it is, OK? Ps:OK! Students work in groups, use the sentences” It feels/smells/tastes/sounds/looks”to make a riddle. Students try to guess the words as possible as they can, then check their answers. Step 3 Practice 1. Complete the table with the right words. T: As we know, we can use our hands to feel something, right? Look at this table, can you complete it? Students do by themselves and check answers together. 2. Read and choose the right pictures. T: Boys and girls, lets do some other exercises. Read and choose the right pictures. Step 4 Summary 1. Review the words and sentences. T: Today all of you did a good job. Im proud of you. Lets encourage ourselves. Boys and girls, time is limited. We have to say goodbye. Today, we have learned some new words and sentences. Theyre T: Do remember: Protect our environment, protect ourselves. Step 5 Homework 1. Try to remember these words: taste delicious, sound noisy, smell sweet, look dirty/clean, look heavy/light. 2. Try to describe something with the sentences: -How does it feel/smell/taste/sound/look? -It feels/smells/tastes/sounds/looks_. .
