Its_. 给你的朋友打电话,先问他/她在哪里, 再问他/她所在地的天气状况如何。 1.查找其他有关天气类的单词。 2.运用所学知识,小组内继续表演。 3.继续预习本课课文。 Lesson 2 How Is New York? 教学目标: 1.能听懂、会说与本课天气和城市相关的单词、词组 a busy street,busy people, a great city, travel, holiday 和 a wonderful place 等,要求发音准确,语调自然。 2.能听懂、会说询问某地天气怎样的表达方式“ Whats the weather lik in New York?”及答语“t s sunny. 3.能够听懂对话,并能够灵活运用所学单词及句型进行对话 的仿编。 教学重、难点: 1.本课单词的正确发音、拼读和应用。 2.询问某地天气如何,做出正确回答并进行对话的仿编。 3.读懂本课短文大意,并能根据上下文进行推断。 5.能够较为流畅地用英语进行天气预报。 第一课时 Stage 1 1.师生常规问候。 2.值日生做 duty report。 3.运用图片复习表示天气的名词。 Stage 2 Work in pairs. 1.创设情景,启发学生,引出新句型“Whats the weather like in Hong Kong?”及其答语“It s Sunny”。 T: Boys and girls, nice to see you again. Please tell me where you are now. Ps: We are in classroom now. T: OK, please look out of the window. Can you see the sun? Ps: Yes/No. T:Whats the weather like today?(放慢并重读 weather) Ps:Its sunny/ cloudy.(若学生回答有困难,教师用口型和手势 加以提示) T: OK. So, if we could see the sun/ cloud, we say Its sunny/ cloudy today.”(把 sun,suny; cloud, cloudy 写在黑板上,并请学 生大声跟读) Read after me please. Ps: T:(给出北京天安门及天气的图片) Do you know where it is? Ps: Its Beijing. T: Yeah. It is the capital of our country. So whats the weather like in Beijing? Ps:Its snowy. T: Very good. We can see the snow, so Beijing is snowy, right? (把 snow, snowy 写在黑板上) Ps:Yes. T: You did a very good job. 还可以多请几名学生多用几个城市加以练习;再将学生分成 两组,由教师指出城市,一组询问,一组回答。结束后再将两组 角色交换。 2.教师带领学生用思维导图的形式总结有关天气的单词(名 词、形容词),并引导学生发现其中的差别。接着,教师组织学 生运用 Work in pairs 中的图片做有关如何询问天气的替换 练习。 3.两人一组,根据 Work in pairs 中的对话尽可能多地用图上 的城市进行练习。请学生表演,给予表扬。 Stage 3 1.通过游戏“我是小小播报员”来复习上节课所学的单词和句 型。 T: Very good. P1 told us the weather of city A. He/She did a very good job.And now, you are the weather reporter(给 出天气播报员的图片) and tell us the weather of a city in the picture.OK?(拿出一张标有主要城市天气的中国地图) PI: OK. T: Now, look here. How about this city? P1, can you tell us where it is? Pi: Its Beijing. T: Very good. Beijing is also our capital. Whats the weather like in Beijing? PI: Its snowy T: Excellent.
