Show some pictures of buildings. Practice the sentence: Excuse me/Pardon me. Where is the.? 4. Teaching “go straight” and “turn left” 教师医院但是不认识路, 然后指路的过程中不断引 出新单词。Excuse me. Where is the hospital? 5. Teaching “turn right ,across from, next to, near, street, corner” 在新授这些单词的时候都 运用教师要去不同的地方 而引出新单词。 6. Teaching “traffic light” 教师通过 street 引出 traffic light,并用 chant 的形式练 习红灯停黄灯等绿灯走。 Watch a video 并用 video 的形式进行情感教育: Dont take any chances. 7. Teaching “bus stop, station” 还是利用情景引出 新单词。 8. Listen to the tape.教师 播放单词录音,学生跟读。 Step 3 Read it quickly 教师通过火眼金睛的游戏 检查学生对单词的读音掌 握。 Step 4 Practice Where is the.? 个别学生或全体学生 练习 S1:Go straight and turn left. Ss read words. Ss read these words one by one or in groups. 5. 让一个学生来讲 台发出指令“go straight,turn left,turn right”其他同学做动作。 Ss read new words and chant in groups. 让学生起来表演 chant。 Ss read new words. 不同学生起来回答 两个单词是全部学生 一起回答 学生发指令可 以拉近学生的 距离。分清方 向,练习新单 词。 Chant 和 video 比较有趣,有 利于巩固知识。 跟录音读,可 以纠正发音。 简单检查学生 的学习效果, 调节气氛。 Listen to the tape and do exercise 1. T will play the tape for three times. T will ask one student to do exercise on ppt. Step 5 Search for treasure Play a game and practice the new words. Step 6 Role play T will show a map and a dialogue on blackboard. Ss come to the platform to practice the dialogue and draw the routes. Step 7 Conclusion T make a conclusion about this lesson. Read words and sentences again. Step 8 Homework 1.Practice the dialogue with your partner 2.Read new words twice 3.Copy the vocabulary At first time, Ss do exercise. At second time, Ss check the answer. At last time, check the answer together. Student A should close his/her eyes and student B will hide the treasure and give instructions to help student A find the treasure. Pair work. Some Ss will come to the platform to make the dialogue and draw the routes. Ss read words and sentences.
