Period 2 一、 教学目标 1. 能够听、说、读、写有关职业的单词和词组:factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer。 2. 能够正确使用上述单词和词组谈论职业。 3. 能够完成听录音匹配人物及其职业的活动。 4. 培养学生树立职业梦想并为之努力。 二、 教学重难点 1、本课时重点掌握四会单词 factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer 以及就职业进行简单的问答及介绍。 2、本课时难点是在实际情景中灵活运用句型“What does heshe do?” “HeShe is a .” 三、教学准备 单词卡片、课件、手工奖品 四、 教学过程 1、Warming up (1)Greeting and free talk. (2)Review.猜职业游戏,老师做动作,学生猜出单词或词组。 2、Presentation (1)设置情境:We know so many careers. Today is our career day, we are going to learn some other careers .出示 PPT 图片, Miss White lives in a building. She has 4 neighbors. Now lets know them.学生自己选择先认识哪位邻居。 a. First floor: 观看图片,展示人物简介,出示单词 factory 及第 一个职业 factory worker, 教师带读,学生跟读。出示句型: What does she do ? She is a factory worker. b. Second floor: 观看短电影,猜测第二位邻居职业。引出单词 postman, 教师带读单词,再次出示关于职业的问答: What does he do? He is a postman. c. Third floor: 观察图片,认识第三位邻居 Peter, 讨论他的职业: businessman, 教师带领学生认读单词,出示举行 What does he do ?He is a businessman. d. Fourth floor: 教师播放一段音频,让学生猜职业,出示第四个 职业单词:police officer. 练习关于询问职业的问答。 (2)单词快读,学生快速读出老师指的单词。 (3) 出示课文 Lets learn 对话视频,学生听并跟读模仿。 3、Practice (1)展示图片 businessman. T: Is he a postman? 引导学生回答 No, he isnt. T: What does he do? 学生回答正确职业:He is a businessman. (2)出示图片,练习对话。 4、Consolidation and production. (1)Listen, match and say. 教师播放录音,学生完成练习,模仿文 中对话创编新对话,巩固新知。 (2)Game:击鼓传花。音乐开始,学生将花往后传,音乐停,花 落谁家,谁就到老师的花篮里选出一朵并打开完成上面的任务。 5、Summary (1)Sing the song “what do you want to do ?” (2)I think everyone of you has a career dream,but now we should study hard now , then we can realize our dreams. 6、Homework (1)在四线三格内正确抄写本节课四个职业单词。 (2)熟读对话,并与自己的搭档演练新对话。 7、Blackboard-writing: Unit 5 What does he do?
