Unit 5 what does he do ? 第二课时 教学内容 Part A Lets learn 教学目标 1.知识目标：根据课程目标，要求学生能听、说、认读四个关 于职业的词组：factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer； 能够运用句型“What does he /she do?来询问他人的职业。 2.通过教师的教学和大量的练习，希望学生能够熟练运用所学 的句型和词组进行日常交际；能锻炼提升自己的小组合作能力。 3.通过本节课的学习，使学生能够建立自信，树立自己的理想 并且学会尊重每个人的劳动价值。 教学重难点 重点：能够听、说、认读四个词组并能运用新知询问别人的职 业。 难点：词组的流利朗读 businessman 的发音及书写。 教具准备 PPT 单词卡片 表格 生活照片数张 教学过程 （一）课前热身 首先我和学生进行一些简单的日常问候和简单的对话： Are you happy ? Whats the weather like today ？ 然后依据前一个单元学的关于兴趣爱好的话题，先做示范向学 生介绍了一下自己的爱好。如：I have many hobbies . I like running . I like watching TV .等等，然后鼓励学生大胆说出自己的一些爱好。 （二）课题导入 展示了两幅学生所熟知并感兴趣的人物图片：他们最喜欢的体 育老师和最受学生欢迎的明星组合 TFboys。鼓励学生讨论一下他们 的职业。（PE teacher, singer） （三）呈现新知 在学生们说出图片上的职业后，展示了一张照片，然后向学生 介绍这是我的家人，并鼓励大家去猜猜他的职业，进而引出了新词 “factory worker。根据课本中 Zhang Peng 和 Oliver 的对话再构了一 个文本把新词融入对话中来教。 （Zhang Peng looks at a photo of Olivers father.） Zhang Peng: Who is he? Oliver: He is my father. Zhang Peng: Wow, your father looks cool. What does he do? Oliver: He is a businessman. Zhang Peng: What does your mother do? Oliver: She is a factory worker. (为学生创设了一个贴近生活的真实的语用情境，使得学生能够 在有意义的语境中习得语言。) 呈现新知后，开始带领学生认读单词。采用了开火车、踩地雷、 大小声、传炸弹等教学方法来教授和操练，特别是 businessman 这 个单词，采用的是用手指比划三角形和“找找找”的游戏来读。最 后进行小组比赛，看看哪组读得最好。 （四）巩固拓展 1.活动 Play a game. 在黑板上上展示刚才所教授的几个生词，特意漏掉一个，让学 生去回忆哪一个不见了。 （这个游戏是学生非常感兴趣的游戏，它能够有力的调动学生 的积极性，而且能锻炼学生观察力和反应力，培养他们的语言运用 能力。） 2.小组任务 Speaking and Writing 先拿出自己的全家福，向学生介绍一下我的家庭成员，告诉学 生我的父母的职业，然后呈现职业单词 worker、teacher，最后呈现 句子：My father is a worker. My mother is a teacher.I am a teacher too .
