Master the key words and sentences. 2. Be able to guess using modal verbs and analyze a kind of state and give the reasons. 3. Encourage students to use their minds and make inferences correctly. 4. Educate students to return to the owner what they have picked up. Teaching important points: 1. Master the key words and target language. 2. How to make inferences correctly using the structure “must/ might/ could/ cant + modal verbs”. 3. Improve students listening and speaking skills. Teaching difficult points: 1. The difference between “belong to” and “be”. 2. How to improve students ability to listen and speak by learning modal verbs. Teaching methods: 1. Learn the new words through word cards and conversations. 2. learn the structure by listening and speaking practice. 3. Cooperative approach.
