Section B (1a -1d) 一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标: 1) 能掌握以下单词及短语:UFO, alien, run after, suit, catch a bus, in the sky, wear a suit and so on 2) 能掌握以下重难句子: They see a man running. a woman with a camera He could be running for exercise. He might be running to catch a bus. 2. 情感态度价值观

2、目标: 通过听力训练和学生小组编对话操练, 让学生继续学习情态动词表推测的用法, 且学以致用。 二、教学重难点 1. 教学重点: 1) 掌握本课时出现的生词及用法。 2) 进行听力训练,提高综合听说能力。 3)根据听力内容,获得相关信息,让学生小组编对话,提高学生语言的综合运 用能力。 2. 教学难点 1) 听力训练 2) 根据听力内容,表演和编写对话。 三、教学过程 . Warming- up and revision 1. Daily greeting. 2. Let Ss look at the ppt,Review what you did last time. . Lead in S

3、how some pictures of the UFO and aliens. . Writing Work on 1a 1. Ss look at the pictures in 1a. Try to understand whats happening. 2. Let Ss write a sentence about each picture. Possible answers: The alien is running after the man. The man is running. Work on 1b: 1. Play the recording and number the

4、 pictures 1-3. 2. Let Ss try to write more sentences to finish the story. Then discuss with their partners. e.g. Finally, the alien caught the man and took him to the UFO. But luckily, they let him go back to the earth. The man was scared. 3. Let some Ss write their sentences on the Bb. . Listening

5、Work on 1c: 1. Tell Ss to read the sentences in 1c and try to understand the meaning of them. 2. Play the recording for the Ss. Ss just listen for the first time. Play the recording again and check the sentences Ss hear. 3. Check the answers. . Pair work Work in pairs. Divide two people into a group

6、. Give a conversation example. Let Ss read it together. Then role-play the conversation between the man and the woman. A: Why do you think the man is running? B: He could be running for exercise. Language points 1.They see a man running. 他们看见一个人正在跑。 see sb. doing sth.意为“看见某人正在做某事”,侧重指动作正在进行,而 see sb. do sth.意为“看见某人做了某事”,侧重指动作发生的全过程。 eg:当我路过时,我看见男孩们正在操场上玩。 I saw the boys playing on the playground when I passed by. 我看见一位老人从公共汽车上下来。 I saw an old man get off th

8、e bus. 2.a woman with a camera拿着照相机的女士 3.He could be running for exercise. 他可能正在跑步锻炼。 He might be running to catch a bus. 他可能正跑着去赶公共汽车呢。 这两个句子分别用了“might/could/can/must + be +v-ing”是表示“对正在发生的事情/动作”进行推测,只是程度,准确度 不同。 For exercise 与 to catch a bus 表示目的。 Catch v.赶上(车船等)/捕获/捉住,接住/听懂,弄明白。 其常用短语: catch a bu
