Get familiar with the food vocabulary. 2. Learn the use of countable and uncountable nouns. 3. Learn how to entertain guests to dinner at home and the response. 4. Key sentences: eg: What would you like to have/drink? - Id like some Would you like some ? - Yes, please. / No, thanks. 二、Teaching difficult and important points: Talk about offering, accepting and refusing. 三、Teaching aids tools: tape recorder, some items, PowerPoint. 四 、Teaching Procedures: 1. Give Ss one minute to remember the names of food and drinks they have learnt. The ask some Ss to report them. 2. Guess game: Give a small piece of the picture , let the Ss guess what food or drink it is. 3.New words: ( 1 )T: What would you like if you are hungry? Id like some hamburgers. What about yo u?
