It was a breakthrough that led to her own films, first short films and then, in 1926, TheAdventures of Prince Achmed, the first full-length animated film.Although Reiniger once described he

13、rself as a primitive(原始的) caveman artist, her work is notsimple. She carefully cut bits of card, paper, and wire, creating wonderful shapes, and then made themmove and dance by hands.
