Whats the Arctic like? Step 3 Learn and answer1. 讲解 Where is the Arctic?:老师利用地球图片介绍句型:Look, the Arctic is here. It is at the North Pole of our Earth. 理解并学习词汇:North Pole, South Pole, Earth.2. 小组读:Where is the Arctic? Look, the Arctic is here. It is at the North Pole of our Earth. 3. 讲解 Whats the Arctic like?: 看 PPT 逐步理解词汇 cold ,a white world , ice ,sea-clean and blue ,sky-blue,beautiful。主要学生自己读和描述,老师及时指导和纠正。4. 老师播放 P2 录音,学生跟读句子。然后学生独立读句子,或同桌之间互相读,并予以评价。5. 老师播放 P1 下半部分录音,请学生将句子按听到的顺序排列。6. 老师出示与句子相对应的图片,请学生尝试看图说句子。(采取学生看图小组讨论,看图说句,并展示。 )Step 4 Listen and repeat1. 学生打开课本到第 14 页,听 1a 录音,跟读短文。2. 学生独立朗读短文,分小组开展朗读比赛。3. 学生再听一遍短文录音,老师截取文中的关键信息让学生填写,请学生将短文补充完整,如:What do you know about the Arctic? Where is the Arctic? Look, the Arctic is here. It is at the North Pole of our Earth. It is very, very cold in the Arctic. Go to the Arctic, and you will see a white world. There is ice everywhere. The sea is clean and blue, and the sky is also very, very blue.
