Learn words about food, especially mutton, beef, noodles, chicken, cabbage, potatoes,

2、tomatoes and carrots. 教 学 过 程 Step 1: lead-in (6mins) Play a video about food and ask students to remember the food names Ask students to play a game Step 2: presentation (6mins) Show a picture of noodles house and introduce three kinds of noodles by showing pictures.( meanwhile show the three kinds

3、 of words on the blackboard) Show pictures of three sizes of noodles and teach students about the size. Present the key pattern: “what kind of noodles would you like?-I would like noodles” and “what size would you like?- I would like a large/medium/small bowl” and teach students to read the key patt

4、erns Step 3: activity 1 (3mins) Ask students to role play the key patterns Step 4: listening 1 (5mins) Pre-listening: (2mins) Ask students about the picture in 1a (who is she/he? What are they doing?) While-listening: (3mins) Play the recording and students find out the noodles that the person order

Check the answers in 2a and 2b Step 6: activity 2 (5mins) Ask students to design their menus Show students menus Step 7: presentation
