I . 3.学习字母 a 的三种发音。 4.学说韵律诗:How Was Your Vacation? 5.功能:谈论寒假生活。 语言技能目标 1.能准确使用动词的过去式讲述过去发生的事情。 2.能根据对话材料中的信息和已有的知识,说一说我国与澳大利亚气候的区别。 3.能用英语说一说自己的寒假生活。 情感态度 热爱生活,热爱祖国河山。 文化意识 1 了解我国与澳大利亚的标志性建筑物。 2 了解我国与澳大利亚不同的地理位置及气候情况。 三、教具准备 1.单词卡片:本课新单词的卡片和本课要学习的动词及其过去式的单词卡片。 2.Peter 和 Lily 的图片。 3.教学光盘和课件。 四、教学步骤 Step1 Warming up 1.Greetings. 2教师播放录音,全班学生齐唱歌曲:What Will You Do In Summer?(设计意图:歌曲热 身,营造轻松的学英语的氛围。 ) Step2 Leading in 1.根据歌曲内容,教师说:“Summer vacation is in July and August.What will you do in summer?”请学生自由回答,教师在黑板上写出 July 和 August 并在这两个单词的下面写出 一些学生说到的句子中的词组,如:go to Beijing, visit the Great Wall, watch TV, go swimming, do my homework .采用不同的方式操练这些词组,巩固词组中动词的音义形。 2.呈现课题 教师说:“Summer vacation is in July and August. Today is .(将今天的日期板书在 July 和 August 的前面)Winter vacation is in .(将寒假的月份写在今天日期的前面) Today lets talk about the winter vacation.”揭示并板书课题:Unit 1 Winter Vacation PartA(设计意图:利用学生熟悉的生活导入,把学生的注意力引到本节课的寒假话题上来。 ) Step3 Presentation (一) 学习单词 Australia 和 China 1.T 出示 Peter 的图片并贴在黑板上,然后提出问题:“Who is he? Where is he from?”根据 学生的回答,在图片旁板书 Peter 和 Australia,巩固单词 Australia。 2.T 出示 Lily 的图片,同法教学 China,用单词卡片和黑板上方的国旗巩固单词 China。 (设计意图:找准新旧知识的最佳联结点,从而使学生自觉地发现并迅速掌握新的 知识。 ) (二)根据课文情景,学习如何讲述过去发生的事情 1.请学生看黑板上的线段图,帮助学生理解何为过去发生的事情。然后教学 was 和 were。 2.T 提问:“How was Lilys winter vacation? How was Peters winter vacation?”请学生自读 课文找出答案,T 根据学生的回答把答案写在黑板上寒假时间的下方。 3.玩穿越时空游戏。区别一般过去时与一般将来时。教学 went, visited, watched 等并复习 will 动词词组。I went to Australia. I will go to Australia. I visited the Great Wall. I will visit the Great Wall. I watched TV. I will watch TV. (设计意图:巧妙安排穿越时空游戏,提高学生在描述过去发生的事情时动词用过去式的 意识。 ) (三)详读课文对话 1.T 播放课文录音,学生模仿跟读。 2.学习句子:It was wonderful. Were you in China? No, I wasnt. 学习在一般过去时中,be 动 词的一般疑问句形式。操练一些句子:Were they in the supermarket? Yes, they were. / No, they werent. Was he in Beijing? Yes, he was. / No, he wasnt. 3.学习句子:How was the weather there? It was hot. It was summer there.并让学生根据已有的 知识来说一说澳大利亚的气候跟中国的气候恰恰相反的原因。 (设计意图:让学生了解我国 与澳大利亚的地理位置和气候差异,培养学生的跨文化意识。 ) 4.T 再次播放课文录音二至三次,学生模仿跟读。请学生分角色读对话。 (四)巩固活动 1.学习课本第 3 页的 Ask and answer.部分。 (1)T 播放录音,学生模仿跟读。 (2)同桌根据图片内容练习对话。 (多媒体课件) (3)请几位同学展示对话。. 2.学习课本第 7 页的韵律诗:How Was Your Vacation? (1)T 领读,学习韵律诗中的句子。 (2)请一两位学生读一读。 (3)T 播放录音,学生跟读。 (设计意图:让学生在朗朗上口的韵律诗中不知不觉地掌握本节课的重点句型。 ) (五)语音教学 1.T 出示单词 skate 和 lake,请学生读一读,然后说出单词中字母 a 的发音/ei/。 2.T 再出示单词 bag,math 和 grass,glasses,请学生读一读,然后说出单词中 a 的发音/和 /a:/。 3.T 播放课本第 3 页的 Listen and learn the English sounds.部分的录音,学生模仿跟读,记住 字母 a 的三种发音/ei/,/和/a:/。 4.游戏找朋友。 游戏规则:T 将单词卡片 can, after, page, hand, father 和 grape 发给六个学生,然后 T 随机 说一个单词,如:hand,持有 hand 卡片的学生就要上台,举着卡片说: “/,/,/hnd/.Whos my friend?”持有 can 卡片的学生就要起立说:“/,/,/cn/. Im your friend.”以此类推。 (设计意图:把枯燥的语音教学融入到活泼紧张的游戏中,学生乐此不疲。 ) Step4 Extension 综合活动:我的寒假生活 请学生写出自己寒假中所做的二至三件事情,然后全班同学说问句 How was your winter vacation?数遍,直至 T 将一朵花放在学生 A 的桌子上,全班学生一起提问:“How was your winter vacation, A?”学生 A 根据自己所写的内容回答问题。 (设计意图:培养学生的 综合语言运用能力,同时也可以满足部分学生的表现欲。 ) Step5 Homework 1.听课文录音,并模仿跟读。 2.背诵所学的动词原形以及其过去式形式。 3.完成新启航中的练习。 4.上网查询有关宝岛台湾的名胜风景区。 (设计意图:为下节课学习 Sun Moon Lake 做准备。 ) 板书设计 Unit 1 Winter Vacation PartA How was your winter vacation?
