Step 1 Warming-up 1.Greetings 2.Free talking 3.By playing a sharp eyes game, review new vocabularies that learned in the past two periods Step 2 Presentation “my favorite, not really” 1.Free talk: T: What do you like to do? S1:I like to go swimming. T:How often do you go swimming? S1:Very often. I often go swimming three times a week. T:OK, thank you. So, what about Jenny? What does she like to do and how often does she do it? Please open your book and find the answers. 2.Have students open their books and look at the pictures. 3.Play the tape, pausing after each sentence to have students repeat, and then underline the words that they dont understand. 4.To have students guess the Chinese meaning according to the context. 5.Teacher explains the new words and set several examples to help them understand.
