Have students listen to the audiotape. Write the sentences and phrases from Part 1 on the board. Read each sentence or phrases, pointing to each word as you read it. Play the audiotape for Part 1 again as the students follow along in their student books. Play it three or four times, ask the students to try to “read” the story aloud with the audiotape. Walk around the class, listening to each student as you go. 1、 Practice Ask the student to draw a picture showing their mother, father or brother in the living room, bedroom or bathroom. Students should practice the following dialogue together by using their pictures to explain where their family member. 2、 Lets chant: Where is my mother? First, play the audiotape and let the students listen to the whole chant. Play the audiotape again, pointing to each word on the board as the chant plays in the background. Choose the bets group. Now you are ready to chant the entre chant with the students. 3、 Lets play. Use the pictures of the rooms in the house that you have brought to class today. The children should all be seated. Hold up a picture and say: Where are you? The students should respond together with the right answer depending upon where the picture is taken: In the living room. In the bedroom. In the kitchen.
