Warm-up 1、Sing a song. 2、Chant: Are you going to write a letter? 3、 Free talk T: Hello, boys and girls. What day is it today/ tomorrow? T: How about the day after tomorrow? II. Presentation 1、Play a game : Review the new phrase on page 9 2、Ask and answer the sentences . 3、Lead-in: Its sunny. Im going to have a party. Its hot. Im going to go swimming. Im happy. Im going to _______________. Hes sad. Hes going to _______________. 4、Teach the new word “bored” and make an example: Gogo is_____. Read and spell it. 5、Teach the phrase “have a vacation” and have the students read one by one. Gogos bored. Hes going to have a vacation. Have students make sentences: Theyre bored. Theyre going to ____________ III Look ,read and answer: 1、Show some questions on the screen. - What is Gogo going to do? - Is Jenny going to shop for clothes? - Is Jenny going to cook some food? - Is Jenny happy? 2、Have the students watch the story twice. 3、Listen to the story once again. What are Jenny and Gogo going to do in the story? 4、Choose the volunteers to answer the four questions. 5、Have the students read the story loudly. Read and act out the story in groups. 6、Repeat the Story with third person single and do more practice . Fill in the blanks in the passage. 7、Do Practice 1 on page 10. Ask the Ss to read the questions first. Ask the Ss to use“He/She is going to ”and “They are going to ”to tell about each picture. Listen to the tape and check the answer. Listen again, this time ,repeat. 8、Read Jennys plan . Do Part two on the paper. IV. Homework 1. Make a plan. What are you going to do this weekend? 2.
