Its . ”的句型介绍动物特征。 2、进一步掌握表示高矮、胖瘦的单词 tall, short, fat, thin ，并结 合本课的对话用这几个单词来描述某物的简单情况。 （三）情感目标： 在活动中习得语言，激发学生学习英语的兴趣。教育学生动物是 我们人类的好朋友，要珍惜爱护动物。 三、Teaching difficulties and importance： 重点: 能听、说、认读几个新单词 tall，short，thin，fat，以及听懂含有 形容词的几个指令，并按指令做动作。 难点: 单词 tall 中 l 的发音 thin 中的 th 的发音，short 中的 sh 的 发音。 4、Teaching aids： 1 教师准备教材配套的录音带。 2 教师准备所学动物类单词卡片和图片。 5、Teaching steps： Step 1:warm-up （1）Greeting. Its tall. 设计意图：通过边说边表演，不但巩固了新学的单词，又提高了学生 的学习积极性；还降低了 lets do 的难度。 （2）T: 师指一名比自己矮的学生说 Im tall, youre short。板书 short 并 教学这个单词。 操练：Be short. Be short. Be short, short, short! Look at that giraffe. Its short. 设计意图：通过边说边表演，不但巩固了新学的单词，又提高了学生 的学习积极性；还降低了 lets do 的难度。 （3）通过以上方式教学 thin 与 fat。 设计意图：通过师与学生的身高对比，形态对比，自然导出 short ，thin 与 fat 的教学。培养了学生敏锐的观察能力。 、4、Listen to the tape and repeat. 、5、Practise: Say sentences:Look at that . Its . Step 3、Practice 1、Lets do. a. Listen to the tape. b. Listen to the tape again and act it out. 设计意图：通过学生表演，增强了对本课单词的记忆力，并提高了学 生学习的积极性。 2、 Lets play。 I say you do. (老师发出指令，学生做动作。例如：Be fat. Be fat.同学们 做出相应动作) 设计意图操练时采用先扶后放的形式，带动全班同学进行表演， 从而巩固新知，形成技能。 3、出示不同小动物的图片进行形体比较，学生说句子。 设计意图：通过同学们喜欢的小动物图片做比较，不仅培养了学生 良好的观察能力，还提高了所学单词的运用能力。 Step 4、Add-activities 小结：出示下面两句话。让学生与动物交朋友，但同时要注意保护 自己。 Animals are lovely. we should love animals.
