Hows the Weather in Your Country? 教材分析教材分析 EEC 小学英语教材以故事为主线,所以本课时的教学内容 情节丰富,插图生动,这极大地激发起学生的学习兴趣。本单 元设计的内容是有关天气的交际用语,通过学习使学生掌握有 关天气的英语表达方式。本课执教第一课时,目标是通过本课 课文的学习使学生初步掌握天气的表达以及了解天气变化和日 常活动的联系。但是由于本课的新授单词和句型较多,故事情 境比较复杂,提高了教学难度。 目标定位目标定位 语言功能目标:谈论天气。 语言结构目标: 1. 学习单词和词组: clouds fine dry in a minute drop of rain rain hard 2. 学习句型:I felt a drop of rain. Hows the weather in Ellia? Its warm and dry in the spring. 并培养学生良好的语音、 语调和语感。 情感目标:借助本课生动的故事情节,激发学生对英语学习的 喜爱,同时培养学生对美好生活的热爱之情。 教学流程教学流程 I. Warming-up and revision Sing a song “How Is the Weather?” II. Presentation and practice 1. Freetalk. What season is it? Hows the weather in Harbin in the spring? T:In Harbin, its usually fine in the spring, sometimes it rains, but it doesnt rain hard. So I think its a little dry in the spring. (1) T: Lets go to see some friends. (Picture One) Who are they? Where do they live? Where are they now? What are they looking at? (clouds) 教学单词:clouds (通过看图帮助学生回顾本课中主要人物的背景知识以及初步 了解故事情节,为后面的故事教学扫清理解上的障碍。通过最 后一个问题的设计,引出新单词 clouds 的教学。) (2) T:Look at the children. They are saying “Goodbye” to Mom and Dad. Where are they going? (引导学生说出图片中正在发生的事。) (3)T: I see a new friend. Who is she? Whats on Sandys hand? (drop of rain) 处理:drop of rain (此处介绍了文中的最后一个主要人物 Winky。另外,通过让 学生看图,引出新授词组 drop of rain 的学习,分散了后面 I felt a drop of rain.这一句中的学习难点。) 2、Listen to the story to grasp the main idea. 3、Listen to the stoy picture by picture and answer the questions. Picture One: Hows the weather going to be? Its going to be fine in a minute.(板书) Picture Two: What are they going to do? They are going to meet Tinos friend. Picture Three: What did Sandy feel? She felt a drop of rain.(人称转述并板书 I felt) Picture Four: Hows the weather in Ellia?(板书) Its warm and dry in the spring. 4、Listen and repeat. (根据学生模仿情况灵活决定每句跟读遍数) II.
