1、Unit 1 Whats the matter? 教学目标:教学目标: 1 语言目标:描述健康问题的词汇,及如何根据别人的健康问题提建 议。 2 技能目标:能听懂谈论健康问题的对话材料;能根据别人的健康问 题提建议;能写出重点单词和重点句型,并能描述怎样 对待健康问题。 3 情感目标:通过开展扮演病人等活动,培养学生关心他人身体健康 的品质。 通过本课的阅读,培养学生处理紧急事件的基本能力,树 立紧急事件时互相帮助的精神。 Period1Section A 1 (1a 1c) 教学重点教学重点: 短语: have a cold 感冒have a fever 发烧have a headache

2、头痛 have a stomachache 肚子痛, 胃痛have a toothache 牙痛 have a sore throat 喉咙痛have a sore back 背痛 句子: 1 Whats the matter? I have a stomachache. I have a fever . I have a headache. I have a stomachache. What can you do if you are happy? Ss: Clap our hands and stomp our feet. T: Yes. Hands and feet are parts of our

4、 body; do you know other parts of our body in English? Ss: Eye, head T: Youre great. Today, lets learn the names of the body parts. The teacher touches the parts of the body one by one and says them. While teaching each one, let students touch or show it. Present a picture on the screen. Let student

5、s say each part of the body. Work on Section A 1a. Step 3 Presentation and Practice The teacher say,Sometimes we feel not very well.So we can go to a doctor .The doctor always aks me ,what is matter with you ?I just answer I have a fever .and so on Then show some pictures on the screen and ask stude

6、nts to practice. Ss: Whats the matter? I have a stomachache. Let students repeat with other pictures about other illness. Make a model dialogue. (S1 does an action to express an illness.) T: Whats the matter? Ss: He/ She has a headache. Let students practice other illness. A: Whats the matter? B: He

7、/ She has a headache/ toothache/ a sore back/ a sore throat/ a cold and a cough. Show other pictures, and ask students to talk about health problems of the persons in the pictures in pairs. Step 4 Listen and Say Work on Section A 1b, listen and number the names 1-5. Have students work in pairs accor

8、ding to 1c and ask some pairs to act out their conversations. Step 5 Summary Ask students to sum up the parts of a body and the names of illness. Homework Give advice to the following problems as much as possible: sore throat, toothache, headache, cold. Then choose one to make a dialogue with your partner.
