3、 can master the sentences “Are there any .?” and answer it according the facts. Teaching difficult points: 1. The pronounciation of community, restaurant and toilet. 2. The use of the sentence “Are there any +plural noun?” Teaching aids : PPT video (teaching procedures) Step 1 Warm-up and lead-in (3

4、min) 1. Teacher shows the pictures of the words learned last class and lets students talk about them by using the sentences “ Is there .? Yes, there is. /No,there isnt.” (Qualification: this step can help students review the key words and sentences last class that can let them prepare for the knowle

5、dge this class.) Step 2 Presentation and practice(19min) 1. Teacher shows a picture about the community and introduces it, “ This is a picture of my community.” and then writes the new word “community” on the blackboard,and lets students read it after the teacher. 2. Teacher asks students “Whats in

6、your community?” and leads students answer it. 3. Teacher shows the pictures of the new words “park, shop” and lets students make the sentences by using “Are there any .? Yes, there are. /No, there arent.”. Then teacher uses the same ways to teach the words “supermarket,cinema and toilet” . 4. Teach

7、er introduces the background of the passage and lets students listen to the tape to know the words and sentences for the first time.And then lets students listen for the second time and lets students answer the following questions and discuss them in groups.
