Unit 11 Calling home 第一课时 一教学目标与要求 1.能听、说、读、写,并运用短语 reading a newspaper , answering the phone, watering the flowers, climbing the hill, taking pictures。 2.能听懂、会说 Listen and say 中的内容。 3.能听懂、会说,并在实际情景中运用现在进行时第三人称 的特殊疑问句及其回答:Whats she doing? Shes reading a newspaper. 4.能运用现在进行时第三人称的一般疑问句进行问答:Is she running? Yes, she is. No, she isnt. 二教学重难点 本课时的重点及难点是现在进行时第三人称的特殊疑问句及 其回答,能够使用现在进行时第三人称的一般疑问句进行问答。 三学生分析: 1、小学生随着年级的增长举手回答问题的人越来越少,特 别是五年级学生不敢举手或者不愿意举手回答问题。原因是小 学生在英语课堂上自信心不足,从而导致不举手回答问题。 2、经过三年多的学习已经拥有较强的自学能力,打下了较 好的英语语言基础,具备小组合作学习和探究学习的能力。可 以开始培养他们的自主学习。 四教学步骤 1.Warm-up (1)Lets chant 学生拍手一起说上一单元学过的 chant,活跃课堂气氛同时 复习了现在进行时。 (2)了解本课学习目标并复习上一单元学过的动词现在分词 短语及问答句子。教师展示图片,学生抢答动词短语,最快者 加分。 2.Presentation (1)教师出示新闻和纸的图片,并带领学生读这两个词,然 后出示报纸的图片,教授报纸的英文单词,并反复领读,纠正 发音。 (2)展示小猫读报纸的图片,学生跟读词组 reading a newspaper,接下来教师提问 Whats it doing ?学生回答 Its reading a newspaper.词不离句,反复练习。 (3)同样的方法学习本课其他重点词组,answering the phone, watering the flowers, climbing the hill, taking pictures。 3.Practice (1)Play a game. I do, you say.通过游戏调动学生积极性,同 时帮助学生记忆刚学过的动词短语。 (2)看图回答问题,教师教授现在进行时第三人称的特殊疑 问句及其回答。然后学生同桌互问互答,进行练习。 (3)Play a guessing game.教师先介绍现在进行时的一般疑 问句及其问答,然后学生每组派四名同学到前面做游戏,练习 前面刚学过的现在进行时句子。 (4)Listen and say.看课文图片,小组讨论,图片上的人都在 做什么? (5)小组给出答案,教师给予纠正。 (6)默读课文,判断句子正误,理解课文大意。 (7)听课文录音,再次理解大意,并验证答案。 (8)教师领读课文,学生跟读。 (9)自读课文,体会现在进行时第三人称的特殊疑问句用法。 (10)小组分角色朗读课文及组内同学分角色朗读课文。 4.Summary What have you learnt?学生总结这节课都学到了哪些知识, 并汇报。 五板书 Unit 11 Calling home Whats she doing?
