I am from .) 。 本课补充教材为 Kids Brown English Program 第四级的第二本,主题为 People around the world。内容主要是位于不同大洲的八个国家的名称、标志物、问候语等。 2.学情分析 本课的教学对象为四年级的学生,在本册书的第一单元和第二单元,学生们已经学习 过了 my neighbourhood 和 cities,对身边的地理特征有了一定的了解,会说一些地名,如 post office,restaurant,grocery,bank,zoo,museum 等等,并且了解了一定的方位介 词,这些都为本节课学习更大的地理范围打下了基础。 四年级的学生处于小学中段,他们已经积累了一些英语知识和一定的学习习惯,这为本 节课学习较难的知识提供了帮助。另外,班级里一些同学有过出国的经历,或者经常通过各 种手段了解国外的文化知识和名胜古迹,但是没有系统地对各国的特色进行过梳理,本节课 将在学生已有的认知基础上进行教学,使他们获取更多有意义的知识。 四年级学生大部分年龄在 10 岁,他们思维能力的发展处于转折期,语言文字反应增强, 思维的敏捷性和灵活性提高,思维发展水平由具体形象思维向抽象逻辑思维过渡,他们有较 强的探究周围世界的欲望,对英语感兴趣,因此在本节课设计教学环节时,我会充分考虑教 学活动的情境性和思维性,比如设计分类游戏等。 本班同学较喜欢听唱英语歌曲和学习课本以外的知识,因此我决定根据学生的实际情况 适当绘本读物进行补充,使同学们在课堂中多听、多说、多唱,并了解更多的英语国家知识。 教学目标 教学目标: 1. 能够听、说、读、写与国家有关的 5 个单词,并尝试借助拼读规律记忆单词。 2. 能够根据图片或情境,初步运用 I m from表达自己来自哪个国家。 3. 能够根据给出的信息,将介绍个人国籍的句子补充完整,内容、格式正确。 教学重点: 在情境中了解和认识更多国家名称,熟悉这些国家名称的正确表达,并能够在相应的活 动中,介绍自己的国籍。 教学难点: 1.Australia 的读音和拼写。 2.了解五个国家的国旗图案。 教学过程与教学资源设计(包括板书设计) Step 1 热身活动热身活动 1.播放歌曲Where are you from?, 同学们跟唱,做 TPR 活动。 2.做 TPR 热身活动。 【设计意图设计意图】通过听唱歌曲和做 TPR 活动初步感知本课的新词汇和功能句,并利用多媒体手 段激起学生学习的兴趣,为接下来的课奠定好基础。 Step 2 呈现新知呈现新知 1.初步感知 T:Look, this is the map of the world.,there are many countries, which country are we from? Where are they? What are they doing? T:Yes, they are having a summer camp. Have you ever been to a summer camp? Ss answer. T: Now please listen and answer my questions: Where are they now? What are their names? Ss listen to part A and try to write down their names. T: I have two more questions: Where are they from? What are their hobbies?
