5、Teaching methods: As we all know, the main aims of learning English in primary school is to train students abilities of reading and writing on the basis of listening and speaking. So in this lesson, Ill let the students read and understand the story by themselves or discuss in groups to solve and an

6、swer the questions. Students are happy to learn English in such way. . Teaching Procedures: Step 1: Warm up 1. Greetings. 2. Enjoy a song: Who is wearing yellow today? 3. Review some words about clothes. Step 2: Lead in Watch a video about the picture book Joseph had a little overcoat. Step 3: Prese

7、ntation 1. Read the story quickly, get students answer question 1: Whose Tshirt is this? 2. Read again with question 2: Why does Zoom want fathers old Tshirt? 3. Read the story carefully and answer: How does Zoom make it? Then get students answer and teacher shows on the blackboard. Step 4: Practice

8、 Retell the story. 1. Order the pictures to describe how to make a special T-shirt. 2. Students retell the story. Let them pay attention to the link words: first, then, and, now. Step 5: Production Paper clothes show Students design their favorite clothes, try to say something about the clothes and show them to the classmates. Step 6: Homework 1. Tell the story to your friends. 2. Read the picture book Joseph had a little overcoat on the Internet.
