Warming-up T: Good morning, everyone! S: Good morning, teacher! T: What do you want to do in the future? S1: I want to be a teacher. S2: I want to be a scientist. T: OK, look at the kid in the book, what does he want to do? S: He wants to be an astronaut. He wants to fly to the outer space. T: What will he do there? S: He will study the moon and see the stars. T: Right, today we will learn Unit 8 I will study the moon. First, lets review the new words. (教师打开多媒体,展示出图片,让学生根据相关图片,说出所对应的单词。) Step 2. Presentation T: Do you know the outer space? S: Yes. T: The kid in the book wants to be an astronaut. He wants to fly to the outer space. And he will study the moon and see the stars. T: Good. Look at the book, what does Zhou Lin in the future? S3: He wants to go to Mars one day. (由此对话引出句型:-What do astronauts do? -They fly to the outer space.并板书于黑板上。 ) T: Yeah, thats right. S4: But the outer space is all dark. T: Yes, it is dark. But the sun and the stars are bright. S5: Zhou Lin will be a great scientist! 教师领读新句型,然后找学生读,同桌进行对话练习,直至学生熟练掌握。 T: Can you tell your partner about what Zhou Lin wants to do again? S: Yeah. S1: Zhou Lin wants to be an astronaut.
