Important points: Learn the dialogue and the future indefinite tense. Difficult points: Role-play the dialogue. Emotion goals: Cultivate the studentsusing English ability. Teaching procedures: Step1: Class opening 1. Ask student to have the chants of unit2 and unit3 to warm up the class. 2. Greet students in simple English to open the class.(用以前学过的 chant 及简单的问候语来活跃课堂气 氛,以便学生集中注意力,引出本课的基本句型,导入新 课) Step2:Presentation 1. Practise the patterns in pairs. A: Whats the weather like today? B: Its. A: How is the weather today? B: Its. 2. Then practise the following. A: How is the weather tomorrow? B: It will be. 3. Ask the students the questions : What are you going to do tomorrow? What will you do tomorrow? Help students to answer the questions.(通过操练句型 让学生基本掌握本课的重点句型和重点语法) Step3: Learn the dialogue: 1. Look at the screen and listen to the audiotape .Then answer the question: Whats the weather like today? How is the weather tomorrow?(one answers) 2. Listen to the tape again and answer the following: What is Liu Zhaoyang going to do with their teacher? What does the weather report say? 3. Ask some students to translate the dialogue. 4. Explain some points of the dialogue and make sentences with them. (1) Will be (2) had better(这个环节主要让学生理解对 话并熟悉对话内容,对其中的难点做以讲解) Step4: Practice: 1. Follow the teacher to read the dialogue twice and correct their pronunciation. 2. Ask the students to read the dialogue in pairs. 3. Have three pairs role-play in front of the class. 4. If time is limmited,ask students to recite the dialogue.(这是这课的重点,通过多样的方法让学生熟读 课文,最好达到背诵的效果) Homework 1. Copy the dialogue. 2. Recite the dialogue after class.
