Quickly put the egg on top of the bottle. when the bottle is heated, the air pressure outside is greater than inside, which pushes the egg into the bottle. This experiment is designed to test if the egg will fall into the bottle. I prepared a boiled egg, a glass bottle (bottleneck a bit smaller than the egg) and hot water to do this experiment. Then I began my experiment. Firstly, I removed the shell of the egg. Secondly, I poured some hot water into the bottle carefully and shook the bottle gently. Then I poured out the hot water and put the egg on top of the bottle quickly. After a few seconds, the egg fell into the bottle. To get the best results, the procedures should be under the instructions of a teacher. After this experiment, I draw the conclusion that when the bottle is heated, the air pressure outside is greater than inside, which pushes the egg into the bottle. Share your report with the class.
