Teaching aims 1.Knowledge aims: 掌握本课的重点词汇和短语,继续学习并列句和提建议。 2.Skill aims: 掌握更多的提建议的表达方法。 了解英语中的一些谚语。如:Easier said than done. 能够通过 4 知道在用英语交流时需要运用连读、重读、不完全爆破等来使句子 抑扬顿挫。 3.Emotional aims: (optional) 鼓励学生在日常生活中始终保持良好的环保习惯。 4.Culture awareness: (optional) . The key points and difficult points 1. Key points: Words and phrases: action, ought to, shut off, after all, electricity, had better, instead of doing sth. , be good for, change into, pour into Sentences: First, you ought to shut off the electricity when you leave a room. Second, youd better walk or ride a bike instead of taking a bus or a taxi if you travel a short distance. Dont use plastic bags. Easier said than done. Actions speak louder than words. After all, we have only one earth. We should do everything to protect it, or well be punished and lose our home. Grammar: compound sentence 2.Difficult points: 掌握重读、连读和不完全爆破的技巧。 理解含有将来时被动语态的句子。 理解课文中的英语习语。 . Learning strategies 记住英语中的一些习语,在学习中有意识地积累更多的英语习语,并在恰当 的语境中运用它们。 在 2 中,能够根据句子意思进行词语搭配。 在 3 中,要学会利用上下文,甚至全段、全文来获取信息。还要结合已有的 知识、经验来完成短文。 . Teaching aids 教学新词的实物(如:胶袋、布袋、电灯等)/ PPT 图片等。 . Teaching procedures 1. Getting students ready for learning: 出示“some beautiful places around us”的图片 出示“The earth song” 视频 2. Pre-listening: 呈现一张图片,引出“How to save the earth?” ,导入 3。 3. While-listening: 听录音,完成 3。 4. Post-listening: : 以小组为单位,全组学生起来把答案读出来。 (一共有两小段,分别由两小组来 回答) 5.5. Presentation 通过 3 呈现图片,与学生讨论怎么才能成为一个更环保的人。 呈现 4 组图片,引出 1b 听 1a 录音并完成 1b 全班大声朗读 1a 引出 ought to do sth = should do sth ought not to do sth = should not do sth Easier said than done. Actions speak louder than words. 完成 1c(请三位学生回答) 根据图片提示,复述 1a( First Second Third) 6. Expansion 通过询问“Do you know any other ways to be a greener person?”引入 2 7. Writing As students, how can we become a greener person? Write the sentences as many as you can .(5 minutes) 8. Saying Which group says the most sentences frequently in one minute? It will be the winner 9. Assigning homework: Recite 1a. Memorize the useful expressions and key sentences which we learn today. Finish Section B in your workbook. Preview Section C. .
