After one or two minutes, ask several students to report their answers. Step 2 Reading 3a Read the passage and answ

3、er the following questions: Do you think it comes from a newspaper or a book? How do you know? Did the bus driver help the man and the woman? Then give the students about 3 minutes to read. And then ask one or two students to answer the questions. 3b Read the passage again and check the things that

4、happened in the story. 1 _ Wang Ping was the driver of bus No.26 at 9: 00 a.m. yesterday. 2 _ Bus No.26 hit an old man on Zhonghua Road. 3 _ The old man had a heart problem and needed to go to the hospital right away. 4 _ The passengers on the bus did not want to go to the hospital, so only Wang Pin

5、g went with the woman and old man. 5 _ Some passengers helped to get the old man onto the bus. 6 _ The old man got to the hospital in time. Then ask some students to report their answers.
